I lost my touch of art

Man... well I haven't exactly drawn in a while, nor do I have the "crayons" that I need to continue, but I suddenly stopped for like 2 or 3 weeks. I tend to rush more or just push the crayon to hard on the paper or my imagination sunk; drawings I did now have turned worse.

This is horrible, how can I regain my talent?? Pretty much the only thing I have except writing I guess.

I am sorry for what happened! The same thing happened to me before. I don't know how I regained it, I guess I just started doodling on a piece of paper and kept doing it for like an hour, until I finally realized I got it back! When I was little, before I was even in school, I drew pictures for like the whole day, 'cause it was really fun!

I hate not being able to draw well anymore, jee.

But that's a pretty cool story~ in 4th grade I drew all over my notebook on old pages, ehehe!

Well I mean, on my free time of course. xD I wasn't in the front row or anything, I did that before I went into the 6th grade, the teachers became observant. But I've pretty much drawn most of my life, I just hate changing.

I'm not gifted or anything but I'm okay at drawing. I really love it though! I hope you- uhh *thinks* wait, wait wait wait- I got it! I hope you un-lose your touch of art. lol sorry I just couldn't think of the proper word. Please excuse my stupidity lol.

Lol it's okay. You mean regain my touch? ;o I'm only upset because I have taken breaks from drawing before, but this just happened. *sigh*

Sometimes it can actually be good to take breaks from something you have been doing seriously. It helps to cement the skills in you physical memory and help ideas that have been floating in the back of your mind grow a bit.

I hope that you will regain your art touch soon though. c:

Heres how to get it back, first sit in a chair and think what your going to draw and you have all the time in the world to do it.
Next look at some other peoples art to get some ideas.
Next start drawing first start with the head make it look at best as you can and there is no need to rush then work your way down to the feet and before ya know it its back

I post a lot in the art thread "lobby". Expect a lot of links to some old threads (hopefully they show)

Just do screenshots and recolor them. I just took a screen shot and my bro thought I was a genius LOL.

lol. I'm mostly good with traditional art than digital though.
