| It's not terrible but you can definitely improve. Try saving the image as a .png file and only changing the pixels' colors, not adding any pixels (you can try doing this as you get better). The hair seems a bit rough, that's why I added the last part. Really, just save the image as .png [when you JUST took the picture, not after you've already saved it as .jpg] and your recolor will look great. | |

| As Owl said, save it as .png first and don't add extra pixels.
Follow Fantage's shading and just change the shades of the original hair (sorry if you don't get my drift). It looks a bit too plain, however many shades of colours Fantage has, you should have too. For example, if they have five shades of red, you should have five shades of black on the hair too.
Use the darkest colour on the outline, then the second darkest on the second darkest shade of the original hair and repeat. | |
