Watercolor = Eh

so, i had to do something for the yearbook so i painted this with watercolor .
i don't paint
so i was pretty happy with the result
considering i hadn't watercolored ANYTHING on my free-time until the day i did this. lawl
i guess it's okay

watercolor painting ok:

it's an underwater scene since our yearbook is themed 'Under the Sea'
but the funny thing is i'm not in yearbook so it was funny how the art teacher asked me to do something for it.. idk

rate? critique? i probably won't do watercolor again but critique is still nice..
btw i painted this like in october

whoa that's so pretty! i love how you made it look like the sun rays are shining down, nice touch.

also maybe you could try using smaller brush tips for detail? the color and detail in this are so pretty, but the shading looks kind of washed out in some areas.
