| For a midnight snack I was eating some really good popcorn. Then a kernel got shoved up my gum. My wire for my braces is in the way to get it out. (Maybe thats why they say not to eat popcorn with braces) I know its going to hurt me the rest of the night because I have a headache because of it and I can feel my heartbeat in my gum. Do you guys have any advice to get it out. Im trying my best to not scream my head off. It hurts so bad. | |

| I don't wear braces (yet) so my advice may not be helpful.
Maybe use a toothpick to get it out. | |

| If it's really wedged in there, try using lots of warm fluids, like water, it might loosen the tension a bit. Or like what Rin said, use a tooth pick but use extreme caution. If all else fails, eat some Tylenol, put some ice on it, or wait until Monday to see your orthodontist. Feel better until then! c:

| Google it or tell your parents (unless they specifically said not to eat popcorn). But you're going to have to eventually if it doesn't get out. | |

| I told my mom and she asked if she should take it out but I said no because my wire was in the way. Im drinking water right now. But now I cant even feel it so now its completely in my gum. I have this thing called a water pik but saying its in my gum I wont use it. | |

| THAT HAPPENS TO ME ALL THE TIMEE!! OMIGOSH. I have braces as well, but I LOVE popcorn.
I've had a piece of kernel in my gum for a whole day before, it didn't hurt as much, and it came out in the middle of the night. I don't know how it got out, it just did. So maybe it will come out sooner or later? I'm sorry I'm no help. I hope it comes out soon!! | |

| Try using a toothpick, If it doesn't work Put Ice Cream on it untill it turnes to water. Water can always Lossin it up a bit. (The Ice Cream might tickle your teeth a bit) Then Get a toothpick and pick it.
