So this is a photo from my science homework...and I have no idea what it is...can anyone tell me what it is?

I really have no idea. I've never seen it before in Science class or in books, internet, anywhere.

I think it looks like a lamp attached to a stand so you can dissect things or something on it?

Didn't your teacher explain about science tools maybe? Call your friends since it's still Sunday/Saturday?

So maybe ask some more people before science class starts? And if most of the other people don't know too, don't worry about it much because maybe the teacher will let it pass and tell you the answer.

I think it would've been a better assignment with photos.

That thing looks kind of familiar. I saw it in my art class (because my art teacher is an 8th grade science teacher). The only thing that the picture has is that string-like thing. I think that is... A ring stand... That's what my teacher calls it.
