im going insane!!!

When I was 3 I had an imaginary friend. She felt very real, and got more real when I would turn older. When I was little she would be my "play date". But when I got older my imaginary friend would start scaring me. "She" would start saying "Help me." and very intense things. That went away when I was about 7, and I was very thankful for that. but for about a week i keep seeing these weird bright figures in my room???I dont know if i am turning insane or if it is real.

Obviously, if "she" is your imaginary friend, she's just your imagination! It's your mind playing tricks on you! Just forget about "her" and move on. It'll go away. But if you think "she" is real, just tell "her" to go away... That's the best advice I could give.

My best advice would be to ask a parent or even better your sister about this problem if you are really worried.
To me, I wouldn't be worried. You see, everybody has illusions, even me.

I suggest that one night you speak out loud and ask for your imaginary friend and the figures to leave you alone and stop scaring you. It might just work, you just need to express to yourself that you don't want to see these things and hopefully they'll stop.

Why didn't you tell me? I will help you! I never knew you had an imaginary friend though. You hid it well...I hope it goes away, and don't be scared to ask me to help

She was just your Imaginary Friend so Its just your mind. Just Don't think scary things so that it would be gone. :>

I remember I used to have one when I was 5, I shared her with my REAL best friend. It was kind of fun, and my real friend named her Julie. She didn't last for too long, but when you said imaginary friend you reminded me of that. If you think it would help, you can imagine her as protecting you from bad things instead of BEING a bad thing, i.e pretend a "dragon" (or something else) is trying to get at you, and "she" is a guard, and she is guarding you. That could reverse the goal of who "she" is, and it might help.
