Urgh, seriously [2/16/13]

I am so mad at myself right now. How could I be so dumb?
So I went to the library, with the library card I got on Monday. I was going to borrow some books (7), and decided to sit down and start reading a library book before checking it out.
See, I was holding my library card (dumb idea) while checking out books. And then before I knew it, when I had to leave, the card just seemed to have slipped out of my hand. I didn't notice that it wasn't there. So I didn't get to check out my books.
Oh my goodness. I am like so angry at myself for being so stupid. I got the card a few days ago, and I lost it. Great. I am blaming myself so much.

Did you put your name on the card so somebody can give it back to you if they find it? Anyway, you shouldn't worry, at least it's not lost somewhere far.

Thanks, but then I'll have to ask the librarians about it and it may or may not have been found.
@Pastel Yeah, I put my name. The person that finds it (IF they do) probably won't know who I am, so they'll most likely give it to the librarians.

@Pastel Yeah, I put my name. The person that finds it (IF they do) probably won't know who I am, so they'll most likely give it to the librarians.

Don't you also have a library account? The librarians can pull information from your account and make a new card.

At least you can get your information and check out books again.
