Once of my dream schools noticed me today!  HCHS asked me to apply before I even gotten the chance to.  I've been preparing to get into this school for years.  Apparently, my grade on the state test is one of the best in the entire city.

I was screaming and tearing this morning-- I couldn't believe it.  HCHS is the 8th best school in the state, and almost every review it has rates the school 5/5 stars.  1/20 kids here also get into colleges like Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc.  If I get into this school, I'm going to be hula-hooping.  I'll work extra hard this year.

On a side note, today is World Heart Day.  Remember to eat your cheerios.  I'm getting my Eruka Frog costume ready, too.  It's almost finished.

whoa that's awesome! is it like a junior high/high school?? also if it's an art school i could use some advice since i'm trying to get into OCHSA (high school for the arts)

@Hop: It's 7-12, which is kind of strange, but reasonable. I haven't applied to any high schools yet, but my sisters both have. The #1 tip: be prepared. She wasn't prepared and had really loose doodles in her sketchbook, so she didn't get in. Come up with creative names for your pieces. It really depends on the requirements for the admissions. They might want a sketchbook and a painting, or you might have to draw in front of them, etc. Does it have a site so I can see?

Aw, that's unfortunate. I'm studying some of the topics and I'm going to take the sample test. My problem is reading, though.
