My opinion on bumping.

I think you should take the bumping rule off. Its like you can't bump , even for creations. Maybe still have the rule but we can bump for creations, forum lounge, etc? but don't bump in disscussions?

Maybe...It would pretty much up the posts count on a lot of topics.

That depends on if the topic is popular or not, but why does every body care about the posts? I mean it's just a NUMBER right?

Yeah, bumping should be taken off the rules. Some rules are kinda ridicolus, even Back-Seat Modding.

The only reason that I mentioned posts is because a lot of people act concerned about how other forums are more active than Fantage discussion.

They use backseat modding for a rule. You just act like your a mod, it takes away the job for any mod on the forum. thats y the have it

There's no need for bumping.

We don't want a topic from January back, because that's just pointless discussion.

Simple Answer: Don't want something to have to be bumped, keep it active.

And as Nicki said, that's basically why there's a rule for backseat moderating.
If there wasn't that rule, everybody might as well just be a mod. -.-

I don't think this is necessary. People bump now anyway and the mods don't even do anything about it. So, what example are they showing?

yea because what if there was someone new and wanted to say " nice edit!" on a creation... and you ban that person for saying something naice... after that they'll hate this forum for being so strict o_o
