Yes, Spanish and Portuguese are both very similar. They are Latin languages. As a matter of fact, Spanish speakers can usually read Portuguese with just a little bit more difficulty than they would read their own languages. Also, I already knew you were of Persian origin, but I had no idea you knew the language. That's INTERESTING.

YESSS I MANAGED TO UNDERSTAND YOUR THING BECAUSE OF A FEW KEY WORDS. I WILL BE THE BEST LINGUIST. NEW WORLD ORDER IN FAVOUR OF MAKKINE'S AWESOMENESS. >:DDDD. /Caps

Ummm, well, since Spanish has already been taken...

How could you understand me? I am now slightly afraid of you. TT-TT

That's really cool, how two languages could be that related. *_*

Yep, my parents mostly only spoke to me in Persian when I was young. I still can't write in the alphabet well though... OTL /weirdgrammar

I'm not giving you my not-so-secret secrets! >:DDDD

Yes, since they both come from a common root. It's really neat, because if you learn Spanish you're kinda learning 3 languages at once. Well, Italian not so much, but definitely Portuguese.

Really? Niceee, I wish I knew Persian. It sounds so exotic and guttural, but not necessarily angry. It's a very beautiful language and alphabet. I tried to learn the alphabet, but I gave up because it has SO MANY CONSONANTS.

NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU *dramatic music*

I really, really, really need to learn a new language. >>'

It is very guttural, though less than Arabic. Thank you, I love Persian songs~. (Should I say thanks? I didn't really develop the language or anything. xD) Ffff, I know. Too many consonants. D:< I remember one of my friends saying it sounded like a mixture of Hindi and Spanish, someone else said it reminded them of French. >>'

I have Persian friends, the way they speak is like, woo.
Does anyone know French? Or is learning to? Ugh. The verbs are the worst part ever. Speaking is the best!

كيفكم يا أخواتي؟؟ /ha

My favorite is probably Raindrops by Axiom of Choice. (Not that I've heard that many... /shot)

"Woo"? What's that mean? XD I fail.

I'm learning French next year, I can't wait, it'll be challenging but fun~.

I can't read the Arabic alphabet. OTL Only a few letters.

My school is forcing me to learn Spanish. No me gusta. Mad

Siden jeg allerede kan norsk, finsk og engelsk, er det noen vits i å lære seg et fjerde språk? Kanskje det, mutta haluan mielummin oppia lisää soumea.

Look, I used four languages in one post! Two languages in one sentence, as well. Beat that. Razz

@Maggie: Nooo, Spanish is my native language! It's nice!

Uhmmm, Uhhhh... Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, and Spanish? D:

No, the fourth language was English, not Danish. But other than that, you got it right.

ENGLISH? FFFFFFFFFFFF YOU SUCK. YOU'RE TOO SMART. DDD:<.

As for the sentence you said, there's always a chance for learning another language! I wanna know all of them, but alas, I can't. orz. (Thank Google Translate for that).

@Nakira: Woah, I love that song. It's so peaceful. I wish I knew what they're saying. Now, the language does sound a bit like French, but not too much. It's very nice.
