Yes, since they both come from a common root. It's really neat, because if you learn Spanish you're kinda learning 3 languages at once. Well, Italian not so much, but definitely Portuguese.

Really? Niceee, I wish I knew Persian. It sounds so exotic and guttural, but not necessarily angry. It's a very beautiful language and alphabet. I tried to learn the alphabet, but I gave up because it has SO MANY CONSONANTS.
