Over sensitive people.

One thing I cant stand more than anything, is over sensitive people. I've been gone for the last 24 hours so I dont know what went down with this cyber bullying crap, but I think I got the gist of it by reading those locked topics.

Words mean absolute crap. Absolutely nothing. Especially coming from someone you dont even know. Ignore it. Laugh at it. You think what some stranger says to you over the internet is true? They dont know you, they're trolls. For anyone to cry over anythihng like that is just sad, and I have no sympathy for those people. This is the internet. The opinions of the people on this forum dont mean a damn thing in the real world. Dont let their words get you down, or they've won.

Anyway, now that I've expressed my feelings on this issue, what do you think of the way the situation went down? Did people react appropriately? Do you agree with me?

Are you a sensitive person, or not? Do you know anyone who is overly sensitive, and what do you think of them?

You're right. Last year I was so fed up with everything. Things were stressful, there was a death in the family, my dad had cancer, I was ill and fell behind in school work. And my sister just made me furious enough one day to punch a whole through her door. Than i kicked the edge of my bed and split open my toes (one of them got infected) and broke my pinky toe.

But anyway, yea, there's a point with everyone where you just get furious, cry, depressed, whatever.

For the most part though, I dont express a lot of feeling besides, happiness, and anger.

Because of all this stupid -REPORT ME I SWORE- talk at school, I'm over sensitive when people upset me. There's drama in my class, which I why Idgaf what people insult me here. So, internet, I'm not sensitive. School and outside, very. ;c

I just read some more cyber bully threads. The amount of them is completely ridiculous and has gotten me mad now.

You guys are sitting here making thread after thread about something that I dont think is even an issue. What happened yesterday was NOT CYBER BULLYING. It was trolling. Who gives two craps is someone called patricks mom fat. If someone did that to me, I'd laugh. I thought it was common to make jokes about other people's moms. Am I missing something. Were some posts deleted?

Words can hurt, dont get me wrong, but words coming from someone you dont even know, dont. You guys are making such a big deal about this when you totally ignore the fact that kids are getting abused, jumped, neglected, AND BULLIED IN REAL LIFE. Open your damn eyes to the issues in this world that actually matter. There should be more topics about how kids get the crap beaten out of them by their parents, than how a kid got offended by someone he doesnt even know, on the internet because he called his mom fat. Honestly, step back and look at the ridiculousness of this situation. Ten threads were made because of the insult said to this one kid about his mom. How many millions of kids are hungry, get beaten, bullied? Those are the people that need attention. They should all have threads. Once you realize how much other people suffer, small issues like this are laughable.

Do I appreciate people's care in the matter of making the threads? Why of course It's great to see people attempt to help with situations of that type.

Do I believe it was bit to much? Yes very much so. We get what you mean the first topic. Further topics of the situation/subject are just annoying, unnecessary, and counter-productive. Your reaction is just what I expected. It's great you guys care and all but 50 topics don't help. After about like 3 topics of the same issue it becomes spam to me.

Now I don't that you should be calling them "over-sensitive" If anything it was an over reaction. More then likely, people were bored that night on FF and saw this oh-so "big" deal over a minor situation that happened off forum. They decided to over-do it and blow it out of proportion.

They also didn't realize that with oh-so many topics any support would be turned away due to people not taking the situation as serious any more OR just being plain annoyed.

That's why I would appreciate it if people would just take into consideration of looking at the topic and replying to it but not end up making 30 more topics on the same subject. We don't need to beat a dead horse.
