To much tech

i highly dislike all this new techy stuff like the kindle, i-pad, etc..
i dont like kindles because first off it much cheaper to just check out a book from a library and its not the same as reading the real thing. Plus i enjoy reading my books in my hand. and i-pads that have so many apps. but then again im such a boring person. i could spend 4 hours reading a book so i hardly even use alot of technology. except from my CP of course.

i love reading books. I don't like tech except the computer which I practically spend the whole day on C;

@ cutey Before the comp and I-pad came into town, there were only books. Why don't you like books?

►I hate the way people are into the PlayStation, Xbox and stuff. Addicts can be really annoying. I know a few and they keep on forcing me to buy an Xbox Live so we can play online together. Meh. I mean. It's okay to like something (to do with electronics) but to force someone to get one and become interested in it too? To tell them, "THAT'S SO OLD FASHIONEDDD" and tell them to get a new phone? Seriously. It annoys the -SLAP ME I SAID ASFH- out of me.

The only techy stuff I'm really into are VOCALOID, teh computer, iPod (to listen to music..), drawing on the computer and stuff like that. I don't even touch the TV remote control anymore... Actually. I'm the only one in the whole class that doesn't have a 'phone' or a television in my room.

And yeah i don't like reading books on the internet it's like you've to lean your head towards the screen to read the tiny words and by that your eyes water.

I don't really think there's too much technology out there....

My family and I share an iPad, and since my parents rarely take me to a bookstore and the nearest library is actually pretty far from my house it's a lot easier for me to buy it from home, not to mention it's much better for the environment and it's cheaper and easier to publish an e-book, if that sort of thing matters to you. I have a few books on my cellphone and I'd much rather carry it than 3-10 pounds of paper with me.

The only way I get to watch most anime/read manga is on my computer, ipad, phone, etc. so if I didn't have those things I'd be screwed. Plus, it's pretty hard to find anime DVD's where I live under $30. It'd take a lot of negotiating with my parents to get them to go out of their way for something like that.

The only thing that bothers me is when the next big 'revolutionary, innovative' thing is just smaller and thinner with a camera on it or when people think that they'll die without their phone at all times. Another thing that bothers me is when (I'm NOT talking about anyone here on the forum) people don't have some sort of new phone or something like that, and they get mad when other people do.
