Girl Art Base (Bust Shot)

I felt like drawing something slightly more, erm, realistic last night. It's a base. So yeah, here you go.

It was originally a full bust shot, but my scanner was in the mood for chopping off a bit of the head, and one of the shoulders. So you would need to do a bit of fixing, and add part of the head, and maybe you could add the shoulder that got cut off, if you want to. I'm not scanning this again, this was my second time scanning it.

I took 5-10 minutes sketching it out, and a few more minutes editing the drawing and refining it. Then I scanned it, but it needed more editing, so I printed out the drawing and did some more refining work. Overall, I would say it took me...30 minutes? Idk.

When I finished, I was all "What. Did. I. Just. Draw." I honestly don't ever recall drawing heads in that shape and making it look the least bit good. That's why all of my heads are circles, not heads. This style is shoujo, I think.

The whole thing was drawn with a Papermate mechanical pencil, .5 mm. led. I use that pencil a lot.

That's because the view is at an angle, so one of the shoulders appears small. The other shoulder isn't that small, but it wasn't scanned properly.
