What's with the owls?

So at my high school all these girls in my band are going crazy over owls they have owl necklaces and earrings and what not :3

I just wanna know is there a connection tot his fad like a book or something or is just the next big thing for people O:?


Or is my school the only one with this going on xD

My gran collects ormanents and any owly things and i get to go round to her house in the summer holidays and polish them :3 its fun. It must just be your school no problem at mine x3

It's not exactly a problem I just wanna see where the fascination with owl came from... because if it's a book or movie that has this type of effect I don't wanna miss out Dx

At my school everyone's obsessed with this "boom snap clap" thing. It's so annoying. This is it:

It's just a trend lol. A couple years ago the zebra print thing was big and now Sperrys (where I am, anyway) are. It's just a fad. But I don't blame people. Owls are pretty epic. ;3

my school was obsessed with feathers in your hair. right now it is dares. we dare eachoter all the time and i agree with owl too

i guess it is just a crazy girl thing that we do

I went into claires earlier today and they had mustache necklaces and bracelets and sunglasses LOL idk where it came from I guess owls r just a trend! Oh Animal bracelets were a trend at my old school too:)

that used to be really popular in my school but they got banned but people still sneak them in sometimes, lol

Here are my schools fads. No particular order.
1. the silly band fad. OMG IT WAS SO POPULAR!!! One kid in my class had about 200 on one hand. It was cutting off his circulation. And a teacher started it!
2. Gummy bear squishy stuff. There are still people that like this. Anything candy or squishy was super popular.
3. the feather fad. everyone had feathers. I had six of them
4. the diva fad. everyone was talking like "OMG LOL IKR" and everyone was like "EWW A DOG IT'S GETTING ITS FUR ON MY DESIGNER CLOTHES" im like dogs are so cute and you're wearing jeans! It was SO RIDICULOUS.
Example:
girl: I CAN'T GO SWIMMING MY MASCARA WILL RUN OMG OMG
Me: You have GOT to be kidding me.
5. the hand game fad. everyone made up some kind of song or hand game. right now everyones doing this "boom snap clap" thing.
It's so interesting to here that other schools are going through the same fads as mine!

My school had the Domo fad, and the hello kitty fad.
Domo and hello kitty hats, clothes, accessories, backpacks everywhere.

haha i never say "ikr, idc, lol, omg, etc in real life. i say it in my writing. one time when i was on the computer in class m teacher got mad because i wrote "ikr". i go through those things and i totally agree with you, animal lover. Relora my school is obsesed those smal shirts on top of the regular shirts.

Crop tops? OMG same with my school! Everyone in my school is obsessed with sugarlips (ridiculously tight nylon tank-tops) and spandex (underwear-like things that you wear under your skirt. Whoever thought that underwear would be popular?! And everyone wears this short shirt that goes off of one shoulder over sugarlips. Does this ever end?!

I would sing along to songs and change lyrics. It's not really a fad in my school but people do it from time to time.
