Domination [[ RP ]]

Claire went along with Charlotte and took her lucky knife out of her pocket. It was odd, but every time she used this knife, she seemed to have better aim. She forcefully threw it at the target and got a bulls eye, but when she did it with a different knife, she was off by a few inches and ended up hitting the very last ring with an embarrassed blush spreading across her face and a discouraged frown.

Charlotte hit a bulls-eye twice on a row and then threw an arrow again, which cut the other arrow that was on the bulls-eye on half. She gasped, and people started clapping. She blinked, and smiled to herself, as she continued throwing arrows.

Claire turned around and looked at Charlotte. What a goody goody! She thought to herself with a sigh. She turned around and this time became more determined. She threw 3 knives at once and made a bulls eye, smiling to herself. Now she was in the zone.

Charlotte sighed and took the hair out of her eyes, willing to concentrate more. She was about to throw an arrow when she heard someone call out her name. She turned around and said: "Who's there?" And she let go of the string by accident, throwing the arrow towards Claire. "CLAIRE! MOVE!" She yelled, running towards Claire to get her out of the way, and standing in front of her to block the arrow.

Claire didn't know what just happen and fell on the ground, laying there in shock. She looked up and stood, looking around. "What was that?" She asked. "What just happened?"

Charlotte's eyes immediately closed after the arrow hit her in the chest. She just laid there, unconscious, with blood coming out of her chest. She wasn't dead, though, and the doctors came there a few minutes later. "Are you family or friend?" The doctor asked to Claire. "If you are, hop into the ambulance." He said.

Claire's eyes opened wide as she realized what happened. She ran over and took out the arrow, snapping it in half and stomping on it angrily. Silently she boarded the ambulance fighting back tears wondering why Charlotte had done that. Claire shouldn't have let her... now it was her fault that Charlotte would be in the hospital.

Back at Miles, Charlotte's mother got the news with a phone-call and she immediately left to see her. She climbed to the ambulance and saw Charlotte. She couldn't fight back the tears, and started crying. She could see Charlotte open her eyes and say: "Wha-what happened..?" Her mother closed her eyes and tried to smile. "It will be okay, Charlotte.. I promise.." She said, watching Charlotte's eyes close.

Claire felt bad watching Charlotte's mother crying because of her. She regretted getting into the ambulance, maybe being around Charlotte was causing bad things to happen. She looked down and waited until they were at the hospital. Then she would leave so she didn't cause any more damage.

The ambulance soon arrived at the hospital and they put Charlotte in her room. Charlotte's mother sat in the room next to her bed, looking at Claire. "A-are you her friend?" She asked, wiping her tears.

Claire didn't look up, she sat looking dull and wanting to leave. She felt like all the life had been drained from her. She cleared her throat and replied quietly, "Yes," but didn't say anything else.

Charlotte's mother sighed, and was about to say something when the doctor interrupted. "I'm going to have to tell you two to leave and go to the waiting room." He said and Charlotte's mother nodded sadly and walked out of the room.

Claire obeyed the doctor's orders and rushed out of the room. She ran down the hall and came to the waiting room, but didn't stop. She made her way out the door and sat down outside the hospital with tears running down her face. This would always be her fault and nothing could change that.

Charlotte was still unconscious as she got injected to numb the pain. She woke up a few hours later with a huge pain in the head and in her stomach. She stood up and fell against the wall, too medicated to walk. She looked around dizzily and her mother ran into the room and held her in her arms, crying with happiness. "You're okay!" She cried, smiling. "W-what..?" Charlotte stuttered in confusion.

Claire sat up and wiped off her face suddenly realizing something. She needed to get back to Miles before they realized she was gone. She rushed back to the Portal and immediately was transported at Miles, but it was too late. Everywhere, there were signs and posters with citizens pictures saying "Missing" at the bottom. People who've been at Miracle too long were soon going to be in big trouble. She didn't know what to do, so she went back to Miracle to warn everyone.

Charlotte sat in the bed, as the fog in her mind cleared, and she looked in the middle. Her long, straight hair was up to her knees now, and she felt like if she had been sleeping for years. She looked at her mother. "W-who are you?" She yelled, running away. She was still wearing the hospital outfit, which were really baggy pants and a really baggy shirt. She ran without knowing where she was heading, with tears in her eyes. Her eyes suddenly widened, all memories coming back to her. She stopped, and saw her mother running after her. She stopped and looked at her. "Mom.. I gotta go to Miles!" She said, frowning and running to her house, changing into her slave uniform and transporting to Miles.

"EVERYBODY GO BACK TO MILES! THEY'RE LOOKING FOR EVERYONE!" Claire screamed running around like a maniac. Everyone was frantically trying to fit in the portal, which was now clogged up and stuck because of all the people. "Now look what you did," she muttered quietly. "EVERYONE BACK AWAY FROM THE PORTAL! I feel like I'm taking care of toddlers," her voice got quieter at the last part.

Charlotte was back at Miles now, smelling the polluted air made her sigh. She ignored the fact she still had a hole in her chest, and ran into the kitchen. She had to cook now.
