Real Life Pics?

I really don't understand why everyone is putting real life pictures of themselves as their avvies or siggies?
Most of the fantage forums I've been on always have Fantage centered pictures as their avvies. Are people getting bored of Fantage and just posting random stuff? And getting bored with Fantage?

irdk but i would never post a pic of me-my real me on the internet unless its a place where i trust. I mean rlly? (not calling names and not to b rude) but the ppl who have rl pics of themselves as aviis and/or siggies thats not right (at least to me) cuz ur endangering urself to ppl u dont know irl. Wat i do is just post pics that look like me from websites (cuz u never know if thats rlly how the person looks or not) srry if i made any ppl mad its my opinion

I used to have a picture of me as my avatar, but changed it shortly. Yes, 80% of us got old and tired for fantage. Its safe, they can't really do anything with a picture of you. There are billions all over the internet.

Like really i don't care but i was just wondering about it.. And yeah i've gotten old and tired of fantage too but i don't think this is the place to be posting pics of yourself..

I only added a pic cause' alot of other ppl had pics of themselves and i felt left out >.< XDD

Posting pictures of yourself isn't really safe. Its apart of Personal Information. If you get a dox and people know what you look like, they can track you easily if they run into you. You never know, these days...

i agree. u shudnt be puttin real life pics up. its exceptional on facebook coz its facebook XD but on forums? urrr u shud be more concerned aba ur safetyy.

The internet shouldn't be shut down. The internet is full of games and fun, and seeing the world! if the internet shut down, all our hard work is GONE. Most people get contact information on the web as well!

Its not that...everything you have will already be saved :p
But, we wouldn't have games...unless we had them downloaded already (I have like 100+) and all we could do is, i dunno draw in paint.
But, some people need the internet to work and stuff...i'd kill myself if there wasn't any internet.

and you never know, anybody can be a stalker. the internet world can be unsafe and safe place, but even so, better safe than sorry (quoting my teacher XD)

well actually... im guessing most pervs save a pic of u on their desktop and just stare at your for 40 minutes and then look for another person... and well i dont put me because i take bad pics (no joke LOL XD) and also its kinda weird u ppl looking at me eekkkk.... but like on facebook or myspace i post them xD

Shutting down the internet? They could make it a law to have website owners/web hosting services make their site secure to IP adresses of places where there are known to be terrorists. I mean, people work on websites to put food on the table. :/

I think that people can post what they want to post.
It's their opinion on if they think it's safe or not.

I think it's fine to post photos on facebook,
but in my opinion, its sorta like, well, why would anyone want to spend all day scrolling through all 1000+ photos of you...

And you don't have to have a fantage avatar on a fantage forum. It's called diversity.
