Okay this is really annoying.

So a few minutes ago, my laptop shut down for no reason.
Then I had to turn it on again.
Then 5 minutes later it shut down again.
Had to turn it on again.
Then it shut down 5 minutes later again.
And had to turn it on again.
Does anyone know the problem and how to fix it? This is getting annoying.
We already tried one thing, but that didn't seem to work..

It could be shutting down if it wants to configure updates or some sort of thing.

My best guess is that it's overheating. If you need to, get a cooling pad to prevent that from happening otherwise look up what may be the problem and try and get it fixed (maybe t's like the fan or something?)

The same thing is happening with my computer too. You could try cooling your laptop.

try taking out the battery and putting it back in. if that doesn't work, then it's probably a heating problem, as others have said.

I know this is a horrible thing to say and its going to devastate you but leave it off for an hour or two. Its likely that it's crashing, overheated, and needs some off time

Have you tried putting the charcher in?

touch the side of your laptop. if its burning your hands, i recommend you let it cool down, especially if theres some whirring sound coming out of your laptop. that means the fan is trying very hard to keep it at a low temperature. put it by an ac (set on cold, ofc) for 10 minutes and it should get better. also, you can be blocking the fan by putting it on the bed, or a desk, even if it's a laptop. the air needs to circulate under your laptop. your fan or filters might be dusty or dirty too.

it might be a battery problem as well. try getting a new battery if it's really old, because sooner or later they just give up.

probably not what you have either, but it could be some virus on your computer that's causing it to constantly shut down. if thats the cause i cant help you with that.

oh and if your laptop is a dinosaur, just get a new one. no windows 95 comps allowed.
