| K BROS I'M BEING SUPER DOOPER SERIOUS ABOUT THIS
TODAY, I'M GOING TO TEACH U HOW TO DRAW GOOD, WHETHER IT BE DIGITAL ART OR TRADITIONAL ART.
FIRST THINGS FIRST. If you wish to draw digital art awesomely, you must have a good program! You may be limited to MS Paint (default program on Windows), but you can still do some pretty cool stuff with that program. If you want your drawings to be less pixell-y, however, you will eventually need to get Photoshop or for those who are strapped for cash, Paint Tool SAI, or some of the many other lower priced options available over the internet. While Photoshop is a more popular choice for digital art, if you want to simply draw, and not edit pictures and such, Paint Tool Sai is the way to go. Generally, SAI costs about 50 dollars. Photoshop costs 700. See the difference?
OTHER TOOLS. If you are tired of creating shaky drawings that definitely don't reflect your drawing ability at all, you may want to consider getting a pen tablet. A pen tablet is a lovely little device that will allow you to draw on the tablet itself, which in turn will allow you to be drawing on your computer. It will make your lines more smooth, and make things look more like you drew them on paper. A good company for tablets is Wacom. You also might consider a scanner, if you don't have one already, whether it be built in with your printer or separate.
No matter what the tools, though, the most important tool is you, and that tool will improve as time goes by and the more you practice. Soon, you will be developing your own style, so that everything you draw will reflect upon you.

| It's okay, if you can't afford it, you can still make some pretty epic things with MS Paint. You can also try GIMP. | |

| Or Sumopaint. It's fast and easy, and you don't need to download it. | |

| There's also Paint.NET, which is free. And GIMP of course, but Short Bus Rider said it already. My mom was lucky enough to get a laptop especially for artists, with those really expensive picture editing programs already installed on it. I'm jealous. | |

| I tried using Paint with a mouse recently. Since I'm left handed but I mouse w/ my right hand, it was disastrous. X'D Oh well. Someday I will be able to afford those fancy programs. SOMEDAYYYYY. *.*
Good advice though, especially the part about the tablets, because I know nothing about which tablets are good, bad, etc. I'm considering using the mouse with my left hand, but it feels weird.
