hello! this is my graphic thread and whatever so a couple of rules here yall
- no editing my graphics for whatever reason, even if it is to "help me improve." i will make an icon out of one of my graphics for you, just please be specific.
- no critics
- rate 1-10 if you can and supply a reason
- critiques are allowed
- please reccomend anything. anything
- ask before you use anything
- if you do, you dont have to credit me unless you want to

Hm, purple is a color related to mystery so maybe try searching for a mystery quote? Like, a thoughtful, existential "ooh life's a mystery whOA" type of quote.

I know. I did that on purpose, so the image would come out. Not to make it 3d or anything, I just do that with all my banners.

hi guys
sorry for the double post, but i decided to turn this into my graphic thread!
so, heres an update! its literally the first gif i made ever. it took 15 frames. i had to restart twice ugh

Spoiler:

the gear rotates. i made this for my documentary thing on the industrial revolution. its the introduction.

if you want your image to come out, try using a color or hue for the background that doesn't blend so much with the color scheme of the image. or you could try using some special effects to blur the background, lower its opacity, etc. right now it looks kind of neutral and the image sort of blends in.

um other than that it looks great! i look forward to seeing more of your banners! 7.5/10

as for the gif, the animation is very smooth and it has clear resolution, so good job on that one, too! 10/10

i like the second one more, but i think the background would do better with a tad more blue in the color scheme? what do you guys think?

the "the" is written in spaceman. the "calamity" is written in CF Spaceship.

The banner is cool! I love how you mixed the two colours. There are some extra lines on the girl with umbrella? and I prefer you to soften its extra lines so that it would look better.

And I like your GIF perfect! :3

hehe its just dark purple. maybe its just the perspective or brightness of your comp? and sure, ill do that:

that actually looks really good! it has some blue in it and still is dark and "spacey". i think this wins

Eh? I still don't understand. What I mean is these lines. (I'll explain it with pictures. )



I'm not being rude, I'm just critiquing the picture. I know I'm not that good at graphics but my older sister teaches me what to do and what not to do on a banner because her job is a graphic designer of a company.

the only problem is i cant start the comic til i get my tablet, and, again, i'm pretty poor.

also, guys, guess what?: my teacher never used the intro. spent hours on that thing for nothing.
