| I changed my mind. I started watching SAO again. I love it now <3 - Spoiler:
I can't believe in episode 5 or something like that. Those two (sorry cant remember their names it was the girl with blue hair and the guy who is now in a different guild.) faked their own deaths i mean it was clever but seriously they fake it in a safe zone. At the beginning i didnt think kirito (god i am horrible at spelling names) would be in the lead group, then lying to the black cats about his level. I looked ahead and there was another episode 15 or something it said they return to real life again wow that was kinda fast. Okay the truth is a now love this show

| I guess I'm kind of an Otaku? I googled it and it said it kind of has a darker meaning though... | |

I am not one of those crazy Otakus or anything...I love anime, manga, vocaloid, etc but that does not make me an Otaku. I think the meaning of Otaku is bad. In Japan, it is an insult. I studied it before but I never thought about it that much.

| I don't get how in so many animes (mostly Lucky Star), characters label themselves as otakus even though it's an insult (though I think Kagami had some sense). I thought otaku meant "an anime/manga fan" for about four-five years so I've been calling myself an otaku for a long time now. Wait, doesn't otaku literally mean like a nerd/geek who stays home all the time? | |

Wait, doesn't otaku literally mean like a nerd/geek who stays home all the time? it literally means disgusting loser (or anything similar) lucky star was kinda just poking fun at that though (as it's japanese the animators/writers did it on purpose)

| Otaku is the honorific word of Taku (home). An otaku is someone whose obsessed, doesn't have to do with only anime. Otaku is extremely negative in meaning as it is used to refer to someone who stays at home all the time and doesn't have a life (no social life, no love life, etc). In the Western culture, people confuse otaku to be something positive. They will say they're an Otaku without knowing Otaku really means. Its not a compliment tbh. | |

| i've been calling myself a disgusting loser for all these years //laughter glad to know that its actually negative so that we could stop insulting ourselves tho. actually, tbh, even if otaku was something positive, i probably wouldn't be fit for one haha. |

Oh yeah, that one. I remember reading a volume of that once. I found it a little overly sugary, but then again I'm not really the intended audience, am I? I just started watching Madoka Magica again. I think it's actually pretty cool after episode 3 or so. The first episode is really misleading so I thought I didn't like the show for a while. Sayaka is cool.

| Has anyone ever watched Machine Muzik? (Warning: If you don't like Calne Ca, Magnesium, or Rubidium (a skull head or Calne Ca's head in full form), I suggest that you don't watch it.) I think it's pretty cool. | |
