The Sun Lounge [[Roleplay]]

Nicolette passed the pages: Page 235, 236. She thought as she skimmed the book. It was deeply interesting.. It was just great. She took out her phone and noted down her favorite lines and the page number.

"Hey! You, the girl with the pink hair. Your food's ready," the man at the snack bar said. Embarrassed, Shannon quickly walked over and grabbed her fries, chicken nuggets, and the slush puppy she had ordered. Then she slumped onto the lounge chair her bag was on, wishing she had a friend to hang out with.

((its Saturday, most of the kids are at the pool having fun.))

Jennifer stood outside the stables, carefully brushing the horses. She tied her long blonde hair back into a braid, wiping off her brow with a contented sigh. There were about 25 horses at Sun Lounge, and she pretty much had to take care of all of them by herself. She didn't do riding lessons, but she was in charge of feeding, cleaning and exercising the horses. She slipped each of them a carrot as she walked out.

Nadia got up and decided to find someone to hang out with. After buying a bottle of water from the snack bar, a girl with pink hair caught her eye. 'Hey, she looks like someone cool to talk with!' she said to herself.
She headed towards the girl, giving her a friendly smile and wave while heading towards her.

Jennifer left the stables, leaving her light blue plaid jacket on a hook by the door. She walked back into the Sun Lounge, kicking her boots off by the pool. As a staff member, she wasn't actually allowed to use the pool, but she might as well enjoy the sight of it. Jennifer groaned. She loved horses, but she had to admit they were a lot of work.

Mai woke up to the smell of fresh Bacon and some Sunny Side Up.Mai got out of bed,and went to her closet.She changed into a white crop top,and some shorts with sneakers.She put on her red polka dotted bathing suit on and put on some sun screen.Mai skipped break fast,and made her way to the pool.

Jennifer waved at Mai, grinning. "Good to see you." she said with an air of cheerfulness. "Everything at Sun Lounge okay? I'm not allowed to even see half the place."

Mai sighed ''It's great!'' she said sitting besides Jennifer ''I've been to some of the places yesterday,and I'm exhausted'' she said taking off her shirt and shoes.''I came to have a nice swim,care to join''? Mai asked grinning ear to her.Taking off her crop top,Mai took out her sunscreen and rubbed it on her legs and arms and stomach.

Shannon looked up to see a girl walking towards her, and waving. She gave a small smile and wave back, then tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. The girl looked nice, and maybe there was a possibility of friendship? Shannon thought about it for a moment. I'll have to see what she's like, she thought with a shrug.

Jennifer sighed, shaking her head. "I can't. I'm just a staff member, I have no access to most of Sun Lounge." She said, looking a little wistful. "Have fun though, okay?" She grinned, attempting not to make a show of jealousy.

Mai shook her head ''C'mon,rules are meant to be broken'' She said winking,she got out of the pool squeezing her hair to soak out the water.She took Jennifer's hand and did a little tugging.

"Hello! How are you?" Nadia asked with excitement.
She unscrewed the lid off of her water bottle, then proceeded to have a couple of sips.

Adam continued to walk towards the snack bar. On his left, he saw a girl who looked very energetic talking to that shy girl he had seen around. He assumed she was mute; he had never heard her speak. He couldn't be sure, though. Adam hadn't ever interacted with her or lots of other people in this place.

Jennifer just laughed. "I don't even have a swimsuit on me, and besides, I'll probably get fired." She turned her head from side to side before adding "My boss is well...to say the least if she studied the rest of her life she still wouldn't be intelligent enough to qualify as stupid." Jennifer was joking, but she said it as though she were absolutely serious.

Mai giggled ''I guess I'll sit here with you'' Mai said smiling.She took a seat criss cross next to Jennifer ''Maybe,we can go take a midnight swim'' Mai said as the sun beat down on Mai's usual pale skin.

Shannon nervously bit her lip and reached in her short's pocket. There was a small, purple notebook along with a pen clipped to it. Quickly, she wrote in small, neat handwriting:
I'm good, how are you? I apologize, I do not talk.
Shannon ripped the page out and handed it to the girl, pushing a small box of French fries towards her, gesturing that she could take some. Then she patted the seat next to her, hoping the girl would sit down.

"Oh! Well that's good. I'm fine myself!
If you want, I could write on paper too!"
Nadia proceeded to sit in the chair next to Shannon, and took one small fry as she wasn't that hungry.

Shannon smiled and gently pushed the notebook, along with the pen, towards the girl after writing:
What's your name? I'm Shannon.

Nadia took the pen and wrote on a lower area of the page.
'Nice name! I'm Nadia. By the way, you sound really nice. (:'

Adam walked up to the snack bar and bought a wattle bottle. It was $2.00, but if it could refresh him on this hot day, it was worth it. As he walked back to his seat, he looked up. That girl was still sitting there, reading her book. He thought of whether he should talk to her. It would sound strange to say that he had been drawing her the whole time.

Nicolette stood up and bought a lemonade.

Katherine attempted to find her contacts; She thought she left them at the snack bar. Even though they didn't provide her with much help, she had to use them to improve her eye-sight. She waddled to the snack bar, but couldn't see. She banged into it, then fell onto the ground.

Nicolette gasped, almost dropping her lemonade. "Are you alright?" She asked.
