1) All forum rules and rp rules apply. 2) Use past tense and third person.3) Don’t make your character the centre of attention. 4) Don’t be a mary sue. Mary sue app = not accepted.5) Romance is A-Ok!! Just don’t make it center around romance the whole time. 6) Delete the parentheses in your app, please. They’re long and distracting. 7) Maximum of two characters.  Please put effort into your apps! We don’t want to see a bland, undetailed app that was made in two minutes. 9) If you break any of these rules three or more times, you will be kicked from the rp, so please take these seriously. 10) Say “the hole to wonderland” somewhere in your post if you read these.
- PLOT:
This story takes place in Greenville, South Carolina, near Lake Conestee Nature Park. We start off with a couple of kids, which you are able to roleplay. Each of them go to Mauldin High School, which is about five minutes away from the nature park. They all know each other, and you can decide what type of relationships they have together. One of the kids, (who I will be choosing using a raffle site) while on the bike ride home, notices a boy running around the sidewalk. His pace is quick, and his hair is mopped. He’s covered with dirt and cuts, and his clothes are slightly torn and stained. The kid have never seen this boy before. Where is he going, what’s he doing? Out of curiosity, the kid follows the boy into the park, but in minutes, loses him. Giving up, the kid returns home.
The next day, the kid returns to school and tells the rest of the kids what they saw the day before. All of them are shocked to hear the news, but at the end of the school day, they all agree to go see if it’s real or not. They experience the same as the one kid did.
They slowly grow more curious about the strange boy, until one of the kids proposes an idea: to talk to the boy. They soon find out about the boy, and where he ventures to.
Deep in the woods, there is tiny a hole. At first it’s just some old hole, but then the kids realize that there's a letter in it. It is written on a thick notepad with a sharpie. The writing is in neat script, and says:
Down the dirt path to your nearby fork
Sits a triple-armed tree with visible cork
Find the leaf that stands out the most,
Surely, its branch will coast
Next to your most upper riverbed,
There lay bubbles on the head.
It’s not natural, you shall see,
Go on in, and count to three.
The poem is a task and a riddle. Each line has its own meaning, but your characters have to figure it out, since obviously they would not know from first sight. Here’s a little evaluation of its meaning:
1). Go down the dirt path, and stop at the fork. There should be an oak tree, with three low, main branches. The outermost layer of the bark is torn, leaving visible cork.
2). Try your best to find the red leaf. Since “coast” means move easily, you have to move the branch it’s on.
3). Moving the branch will enable bubbles to come out the tip, or head, of the nearest river. Underneath the bubbles are another hole, fit for an average human. Holding your breath and diving in leads to this “wonderland”.
In this world, there are many strange creatures and plants. Since the water hole is deep, the kids realize there’s no way back up. For days, the kids spend time in the underground world, getting used to their surroundings, trying to even comprehend whether everything is a dream or not, and so forth. It’s your choice: try to get out, or stay in forever.

Name: Zachary “Ry” (pronounced ree) Stegar
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual/romantic
Personality: Ry is mostly the person that’ll tell you what you’re doing wrong, but rudely. He doesn’t have much patience. Despite that, he still has many friends, and his social skills are decent. He is always aware of what he does, as well. Ry’s a pretty decent cook, and he is very fond of US history.
Biography: He grew up like your average kid. There’s nothing special about him, in all honesty. However, he doesn’t seem to get along with his father much, nor does he bond with him for very long. He tries his best to fix these problems, but most of the time, it doesn’t seem to work. In addition, he has two sisters. One is a senior; the other, only in fourth grade. He would like for her to follow a good path.
Appearance: Brown hair which he combs up with gel. The sides are short, but he has a medium length for the front, and it stands up the most. His face is sculpted decently, with a defined yet thin nasal bridge. Thick and dark eyebrows that are angled well. The only knock back is his pale skin, which isn't very flushed usually, unless he's exercising. He contains a thin, long head structure and green eyes. Despite this, he does look his age, and he doesn't have facial hair.
Example of roleplaying: As Zachary had gotten his foot stuck in something, he groped onto the nearest person's shoulder. "Er-" was the only noise he got out. After having them look at him, then down, they pulled him by the waist up. His foot slipped out the whole easily, even though it wasn't for him alone. Looking at the hole, he said, "Why is that thing so deep?" His foot was halfway emerged in it when he'd gotten stuck. "Can't be natural."

The more Elliot examined, the more he noticed aside from a bland, brown hole. A white paper caught his attention. "Hey, guys, look at this," he mumbled. No one seemed to hear him. "Guys, look," he said a more loud and clear.

In addition, she has fin like ears, fins on the sides of her hands, ankles, and back.

Personality: Tom-boyish, easily excited and content with life. Maravadene, has lived a rough life in the "slums" of the community. She's used to playing rough and because of this she isn't one to sympathize. She loves games and is extremely competitie. When she was younger kids always had a problem pronouncing her name: in the end someone called her Marva-Denneve which soon was shortened to Denny; a name that suited her perfectly. Denny is incredibly curious and very irrational. She prefers to go with the flow and express herself through the arts- science and math are things she enjoys, but she doesn't let logic and rationality get in the way of her creative spirit at all. She is incredibly loyal and respectful and enjoys being with others and tries to have fun.
Biography: Maravadene "Denny" Linn has had a very underprivileged life. Beig the middle child of 5 kids and the child of a single mom working double shifts at very job she had Marvavadene, better known as Denny, has always trod to keep her family happy in the darkest of times. Her father, a well known photographer, died at the age of six leaving her mom with little to no money and two young children and five mouthes to feed. Growing up Denny had to live in the poorest neighborhoods with some of the worst people. However, this environment bred a tightknit community in some areas, and luckily Denny and her 4 siblings had many playmates. Denny always played with the guys and up until the age of 12 she was considered one of the guys. But things change and people become interested in other things so Denny the tomboy became Just plain Denny, the girl who had connections with most guys at the high school. Denny didn't mind, she knew things would change, so she went and did teenager things while still playing in the muddy park on a rainy day or playing baseball with the "back alley boys" a group of your men who diet have much of a family but themselves.
Appearance: 5'7" with small hips and a noticeable but negligible chest. She has brown hair that goes to just below her shoulders and is very thick and slightly wavy. She has hazel eyes that are a very green hazel and are acceented by very thick and girly eyelashes. She has fairly pale skin, but it isn't white-white, and a tiny kidney bean shaped birthmark on her right ankle. She has light pink lips and slightly crooked teeth.
Example of roleplaying: Denny stared open-mouthed above her. The tiny chink of light coming down on her illuminated the dust and watery most around her. She looked in front her brushing back her soaking wet hair and glanced at the large ominous corridor in front of her. She felt her mind and heart race before she unconsciously stepped into the darkness.
Additional information: She's a little bit embarrassed about the fact that she likes girls and doesn't like to talk about her sexuality. She always wears a plain white jacket that is quite dirty and splatters with paint. Oh and something about the hole to wonderland. | |
