Explain

Lets all explain why we either like anime or cartoons better ( I wanna see why everyone likes this more than that for some reason.) also sorry if this was suppose to go in the anime discussion..BUT don't just say " anime " or "cartoon" list your reasons why.

I like cartoon better because I think cartoons r funnier and I like funny stuff also I never get bored watching cartoons ( well besides some childish ones.i like teen ones ) for example I can't watch 14 episodes of anime without getting bored ( well besides mgx mgx is beautiful..) and I can watch over 100 episodes of teen cartoons with ought getting bored.

I like cartoons like regular show and adventure time etc. Because they are epic and their for like my age.if i watch the same episode over again and again it has to be a the max 10

Cartoon or Anime?

I chose cartoon.

I really like them but I can't say anything bad about anime.

Cartoons are fun and funny! (some can be BAD)

I think both a great and have their own appeals!
I like cartoons because they are entertaining, cute,and funny. I love how varied the art styles can be. I used to watch them a lot when i was younger, but now I mainly watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Adventure Time, I'm also trying to branch out and see more ^^
I like animes because the ones I've seen are on a more emotional level than cartoons. I'm not saying cartoons can be emotional, I'm very sure that they can, I just haven't seen sad cartoons, and I know that animes can be very lighthearted too.

i'll admit, i don't like anime and cartoons...
i'm not sure what to choose most of the anime and cartoon shows
are either stupid, unfunny, annoying, or boring to watch. ):
there are SOME anime and cartoon shows i like to watch.

personally i've never been much of an anime fan so i guess i'd say cartoons? honestly i like filmed shows the best. but i love seeing cartoons with cool art styles!!

Cartoons because the art styles are so unique, and they'e usually funny and non-serious. And entertaining, of course!

Cartoons, because they're funny. And because I don't like anime, don't hate me please  

I have no idea why but I do like cartoons better??? Even though anime is good usually cartoons are better to lift your spirit.

i guess i like both??? i dont know i grew up watching cartoons but anime is pretty much all i watch :v

Cartoons..I only watched 1 anime, and loved it, but I'm not that interested in Anime..it just doesn't has that appeal to me. Cartoons, I grew up with, I'm used to. But I don't watch any tv that much anymore.

I like both. I still watch both. I have been liking anime a bit more now. But im still not sure.

I like both, but I watch more anime than cartoons.
Animes are more serious while cartoons are more easy-going so I don't really know which is better.

Animes are cartoons. They're just cartoons from Japan.

I personally prefer anime over western animation however.

I prefer anime- plots, arts and the fact that they can focus on more genres than comedy (yes, it's not all dark, serious stuffs), like the cartoons do. Of course I do like cartoons but they just don't appeal to me as much as anime does. except Tom and Jerry iauwehqiw my childhood.
