Typical High [[ ROLEPLAY ]]

James had just taken another drag from the homemade rolled tobacco/cannabis conjunction when he heard his cellphone buzz. He rested the joint on the ledge of the roof's balcony and checked on his cell, cracking a grin when he saw Alicia's response.
"i understand dude. trig is my first class this year, it sucks but w/e i guess. try to hurry up." he typed out, pausing a while before tapping the 'send' button and putting his cellphone back away.

"'K.  Comin'." she wrote back.  Quickly, she looked to each side of her and made her way to the elevator.  It only had four other people in it, but they happened to get off in the next floor.  She pressed the button to the top floor and exit the elevator.  Luckily, Alicia carried a bobby pin in her pocket, great for picking locks.  Once she made her way to the stairwell and saw the gate guarding the final staircase to the roof, she unlocked it using the pin and rushed underneath it.

James didn't bother to check his cell after the next buzzing noise; he knew Alicia was going to show up so there wasn't really any point. He picked his joint up and made his way to the elevator, assuming Alicia was taking that route, though she could have also come up from the stairway he heavily doubted that considering their tight schedule.
Not a moment later the elevator doors creaked their way open and a wide grin spread over his face as he saw Alicia standing there.

"Hey," she said once she noticed James saw her. She went over to the edge of the roof to the fences, where he stood, and dropped her backpack on the floor, landing it with a soft noise.

"Heey man!" he chuckled a bit, his voice and bodily movements moving at a much slower rate than his facial expressions as he spoke. "What classes do you have this year?" he asked somewhat inquisitive, wondering if they shared any classes together at all before remembering that Alicia was a grade higher than him.
"Uh...so, you want a smoke?" he offered, opening up the left side of his jacket to her so she could see a couple of rolled joints in a plastic baggy taped to the inside of his jacket. "I brought the lighter as well." he added, "And it's all on me."

Fay's class wrapped up, and she was the first out of the room. Next is Math... She thought, checking her schedule. "Dang it. I hate math. I suppose I'll find a way to cheat it once I get home, though." She almost wanted to skip the class entirely. It couldn't be that problematic; plenty of kids at the school did it. She didn't really get great grades anyway.  Shrugging off the idea, Fay stalked into the classroom early. Some part of her brain made her wish that Katrina was in this class with her. And every class. Ugh, I'm totally obsessing over her. She probably doesn't even like girls.

Just as he reached his classroom, he was startled by a girl asking for him to participate in a survey. "Sorry, I would but I have a class to get to. Maybe afterwards?" he said. Nev continued to his classroom. His first class happened to be English. It was one of his best subjects, so he didn't even bother to listen to what his teacher had to say. Instead, he fiddled with his pen and occasionally glanced at the students surrounding him.

Charlie didn't really pay attention to what his history teacher said. He took out his cellphone and began to text to Nev. "This is really boring. I'm not sure what to do," and he sent it. He then glanced at the teacher to see if she was watching him. He sighed a bit.

"Just a bit." she told him.  "I have science after this, I think."  The sky was cloudy, she assumed it was going to rain today.  Crap, she thought. gotta find someone to drive me home. Had she not gotten into an accident with her car a week ago, she would've been able to do it herself. Alicia never bothered to read or watch the news, so of course she wouldn't know.

Nev jumped slightly when his phone buzzed. He slowly put down his pen, and reached into his pocket. After reading the text, he rolled his eyes again. Nev's thumbs quietly moved around the bottom part of his phone, creating a text that read "Was it that necessary to text me /that/ in the middle of class? I'm bored myself, but really?".

"Alright, you choose. The first two are just regular, relatively mellow spliffs, then the last's a pretty strong blunt I brought along just in case, but I'm going to go ahead and assume you're interested in the spliffs, yeah?" he responded, taking another slow drag from his joint. "We could also both just share off of this one, if you want." he offered, not sure if she had the time to make good use of a whole one.

Charlie read the text that Nev sent back to him. "I don't think so, but there really is nothing to do. Our teacher is more boring than the most boring game in the history of boring games." He glanced back at his teacher. Still not caught yet..

"Yeah, that's fine." she said. "I'll share. I'm only gonna be up, like, 10 minutes. Everyone told me this guy's usually late, so..."

Just as he was about to put his phone away, Charlie had already replied. Nev couldn't help but let out a small smirk at the reply. "The Hunger Games: Boring Edition?" he replied.

Charlie read the message. He chuckled a bit quietly, and then noticed that the teacher glanced at him for a short while, but continued on. He went back to his phone. "Heh, that's kinda funny. What do you have after this period?"

"Math maybe? I'll have to check. What about yourself?"
Nev glanced up at the teacher, making sure her attention was focused on the board and other students rather than himself. Fortunately, she hadn't laid an eye on him so far. He looked back at his phone.

"Ah...you liking science or something?" he asked, chuckling as he passed her the joint. He didn't normally like sharing, but he was willing to make an exception in this particular situation, especially since he had been the one to make the offer in the first place.

Katrina woke up to the feeling of the teacher smacking her with a ruler. When she opened her eyes, the classroom was empty, and drool was spilling down her open math textbook. "Katrina, you've fallen asleep during class! I understand you're getting wonderful grades. However, if you're not getting enough sleep at night, Math class isn't the place to be making up for your lost sleep!" The teacher, A fairly-young tall woman with her brown hair tied up into a bun and purple glasses, starting ranting about proper sleep schedules and healthy nighttime routines. When the rant was finally done, Katrina dragged herself out of the class, surprised that the halls were empty. She glanced at the clock. Science started in three minutes! Dazed, she ran to her locker, and entered the dial, fumbling to get her Science. When she reached the science room, It was exactly three minutes before the bell was going to ring. Relived, she took a seat next to a shy redhead who was nibbling on her pencil eraser. She smiled at the girl, and got excited as the science bell rung. She loved Science.

"I have science next. I don't really care for science, either. Although I'll look foward tos ome new classmates. Kinda."
He leaned back in his chair, and for once, looked up at the board.

The science teacher walked in. He had a bald head, and looked very stern. He glared at everyone, including Katrina. Her arms filled with goosebumps, and her heart was pounding. He turned around, grabbing a blue piece of chalk and scribbling something on the board. It read "Mr.Robinson." After that, he dropped the piece of chalk, eyeing students who were paying no attention and instead, had headphones in. Or just didn't care. He turned to face the chalk board, and scratched his nails down it. The noise was horrible, and a startled Katrina slammed her hands over her ears. She didn't over react, just simply shut her eyes and covered her ears. However, when she opened her eyes, she could see people gripping their heads so tight they looked like they would explode. And, to top it off, the shy redhead next to her was screaming so loud she could hear the sound even though she was pushing extremely hard. "SHUT UP!" The teacher yelled. Silence. A girl with a black bob had dropped her iPod on the floor, and it slid across the marble until it reached Mr.Robinson's foot. He grumbled, grabbing it and throwing it into the second drawer of his desk. Before she could protest, he told her she would never get it back if she whined. She didn't say anything.

Nev let out a yawn, bringing the teacher's attention to him. He clutched his phone in his hands, hoping she wouldn't notice it. She gave him a look, a "something's going on" look, and went back to teaching the easy lesson. Nev took a look at the clock above the door. Thankfully, the period was nearly over. He could hear some students in the hallway who got out early. He opened his hands and looked at his phone again, reading Charlie's reply. "Most of the new students, exception of the grade 9's, are idiots. I thought you'd know that by now." His thumb pressed the send button. Nev began to type up a new message. "Wanna hang out at lunch?"

Charlie read his text message. As he was about to reply, a new one popped up. "I guess you can say that. And others just make me really uncomfortable. I guess. Sure, I have nobody else."

"Alright. See you then I guess. Good luck in your next class."
Just as he pressed send, the bell rang for a break between classes. He left the class quickly, hoping to get to where he needed to before the large crowds came out. Nev managed to get close enough to the class before the crowds rushed into the halls.

Christy quickly ran to the high school building. Christy was thinking Man I shouldn't have spent a million years picking a stupid outfit!! She went in had to go to the main office to go get a tardy pass. Christy sighed and walked to her 3rd period, which is Math.(it's 3rd period right? or is it 2nd?) She gave the teacher her tardy pass and sat down. She couldn't believe she was late on the first day of school, but this was no surprise, she was late at the first day of school last year. Mostly because she did her hair. The teacher gave her a worksheet she had to do since she was late.

Dawn sat in the very back of the room and watched the teacher go on a rant about their homework. She took a few notes on the lesson and fixed her eyes on the board until it started spinning and her eyes crossed. She closed her eyes and shook her head. She slumped in her seat and sighed.
