thoughts about make up? discussion

Ok so the 6th/7th graders in my school wear makeup. They wear foundation and eye stuff and things to make ur face look wow. So any thoughts about mske up. Is it cool to wear?

I'm a guy so I have little cause to wear the stuff (except for cosplays. L wears eyeliner and such), but I don't see the issue with people wearing makeup as long as they apply it correctly.

My friend is in 5th grade and wears it and is popular at her school. I sometimes wear some though only some mascara or lip gloss/lipstick...sometimes only eye shadow or lip gloss and even just lip gloss...sometimes I just cover up zits? It's ok to wear it as long as you don't wear wayyyy to much and if you don't have any idea what you are doing...don't wear makeup because it will look strange and you can poke your eye with a mascara wand..

I think that make up looks not the best on me, but it still helps. I only wear it for skating performances

I'm a seventh grader myself, and I wear Mascara. That's it. Maybe some lipgloss every now and then. I put a lot of layers of Mascara, though. It makes my eyes look really nice! But I'm not allowed to wear anything else. Like, even when I'm in high-school; I can only wear Mascara. That's it. Other than, like, dance recitals and such.

Everybody should be able to adorn their body however they like, and it shouldn't be anyone else's concern. As long as they're fine with the makeup they're using, I think it is too.

I think make up is fine, just as long as you apply it correctly. Anyone can look good just as along as they do it correctly. I don't wear makeup myself but maybe some day I will. My friends wears make up all the time... I prefer her without it but she does it okay.

I could only put mascara now and then with lipgloss... I could wear anything but when my acne clears up.

I only wear masscara. I have eczema, and it's so bad that I can't wear foundation. Make up breaks my skin out.

Korra, it does not matter how much make up you put on. Looks shouldn't matter. At least that my opinion about it.

I have something called something itus (i can't remember!) But i recommend to not put anything on your eyes yet bcuz it might go in Ur eye and make it worse by rubbing it....I would recommend lip gloss or lip stick...

I LOVE MAKE-UP! SOO STLYSH <3333. I have this eye-shadow which is like blacky greyish thingy. It suits my eyes

I can't put body creme on, or any makeup other than mascara and lip-gloss because it irritates my skin. I have eczema as well, but it also affects the parts of my body where I'm eczema free.

That must suck O_O. Poor you <3. Having make-up isn't everything i guess.

i lovelovelove wearing makeup! it hides my natural ugliness. i'm at the point wear i can't even go in public without having at least some makeup on. if you want to wear makeup, i don't see why you shouldn't go for it (unless you're not allowed to because i know parents can be like that). i think middle school is when most girls start.

The reason I'm not allowed to wear ANYTHING other than mascara and lip gloss is because my sister said she wouldn't wear anything else and now she uses a lot even though she's GORGEOUS naturally.

i don't put any effort into my appearance when i go to school because let's face it, it takes way too much time so i just wear foundation and mascara and maybe some eyeliner when i'm in the mood for it.
however, in other circumstances i literally cannot leave the house without a full face of makeup lol.
i love makeup because it's actually really fun to put on and if you have insecurities with anything then you can just use makeup to fix it!

Really? I take 15 mins max doing my makeup...

and that's only if I decided to do eyeliner that day. For me make-up consists of some concealer, some foundation, always mascara, sometimes eye liner and a lot of the time eye shadow. I usually use neutral colors of eye shadow when I wear eye liner though (:

@O, me too I don;t enjoy going to public without at least some mascara (usually brown if that's just it).

idk man it takes me around 10 mins (?) to do my makeup for school but when i'm not going to school and i'm going out i take like an hour lolol

I wear foundation/mascara/eyeliner on a daily basis.
Make-up is okay, you know, whatever suits you.
Just be sure to take it off completely so you won't wear your face out and cause premature face-aging. (◡‿◡✿)

I'm in 11th grade and I wear no makeup. I just think people are beautiful the way they are!

Right now I'm using antibiotic acne cream which I cannot put makeup on or it will do some serious damage on my skin -___-

It really bothers me when people put a lot of makeup on and they put it on really badly..Just makes you look worse. Like I'm sorry bUT

I hate foundation and concealer with a passion. It only causes me to have breakouts and dry, flakey skin. The only makeup I wear is some mascara and lip balm. (if that counts?)
