| I thought of this because people on fantage kept arguing about santa. So I told them this story:
Once upon a time, long ago, santa was placing gifts under a family's christmas tree when suddenly, he heard footsteps. His jolly head slowly turned to see a young boy, 5 years old, staring at him. "Santa?" the young tot said softly. Santa pretended to be jolly and happy. "Ho ho ho, well, it looks like you might have heard me. Here, take this christmas magic!" he said, reaching into his pocket and taking out a small golden bag. He untied the golden string and turned the sack of christmas magic over. The golden sparkles rained on the child, making him drowsy. He passed out on the floor, and Santa picked him up. He took the tot to his room and tucked him in tightly. "Ho ho ho, that christmas magic sure did a good job. Now his memory will be wiped and he wont remember me." he said to himself. Sure enough, the young child woke up on christmas day without remembering Santa at all. The next Christmas, Santa apparently had to powder up 34 children. The next year, 67. The numbers kept growing. Santa became worried. He soon wouldn't have enough christmas magic to deliver gifts next year. So he devised a plan. Using his remaining christmas magic, he delivered the gifts for this year and left a note at each of the parent's beds. It read:
Dear parents,
Every year, your children wake up in the middle of the night to see me place gifts. I have to erase their memories everytime they see me, using my christmas magic. Unfortunately, without enough christmas magic I can't make gifts for all the children. So, on exactly November 1st, I will send every one of you parents just enough money to forfill all the wishes your children will make this year. I will not make the trip there except in an emergency, so in case you really don't buy the children anything I will supply them. But if you fail to buy them gifts I will curse your family so that for the entire month of December you will have the worse, most painful luck in the entire universe. My second request is for you to keep the christmas spirit high. Without it I cannot get christmas magic and you won't get any money. Don't let the children think I'm fake before the time has come. Every time a child is born I will send you this notice when your child will first recieve presents. Please keep this an absolute secret; if you tell your children you will also be cursed for all of December.
Thank you for your cooporation.
Santa
So every year santa sent money to all the parents that celebrated Christmas so they could buy presents for their kids. The parents always kept a huge secret about it, but sometimes the kids saw that their parents were giving the gifts, so they gave up on Santa. Don't worry, though. He still flies around in the sky on Christmas Eve so people wouldn't get suspicous, and he still eats cookies and milk. That's why no one believes in Santa anymore.
Why won't you believe me?
THE END
Okay it was shorter when I said it on fantage but w/e
I'm not the best writer and I just kinda wrote this for fun I write run on sentences alot okay

| I think that Santa is just merely a character, and characters don't have to be real people or represent them. Also, good and cute stuff doesn't have to actually exist in order to positively affect us - that's why I love kigurumi/animegao cosplay (the cosplay where people wear full body suits and full head anime masks). I even have the song drubble about it: - Forgive me Saki-chan (2013):
Verse 1. Christmas time comes, Santa brings presents, Jesus Christ is getting born, People turn in very happy mood, But Saki and me, not!
Chorus: Forgive me, Saki-chan, Saki-chan, neko-chan, I apologize for taking Santa off your heart! I know he's not real, but if you believe, You'll see he's real!!!! (x2)
But anyways, cute story ^.^
