vacation ideas?

idk my dad got a free vacation from his work and we're trying to decide on where to go. we're currently thinking about new zealand, though i'd like to throw a couple other ideas and let us work from there.
we've already decided that we wouldn't be going to europe (//sad i wanna go there) or africa. also, nowhere in the states/canada. i know this really narrows down the choices, but my dad is pretty particular with where he wants to go.

i appreciate your ideas so much! i would love to go to somewhere in asia, but unfortunately I found out that it's not something my dad would like to do. hopefully i'll get an opportunity later on, though.

even though i know some of this stuff is in Europe ill say it anyway since it wont hurt Sweden Switzerland, Brazil, philippines, and Thailand. I know you already said no to some of this stuff but since there arent many option you might was well relook at them

carribbean, perhaps? it might be kind of pricey idk, but i've heard the beaches there are amazing and it seems very relaxing! or any kind of warm, tropical island vacation; it could be a good break from the cold fall weather.

If you're going to New Zealand, then go to Tauranga. I live there.
