| I disagree. If the internet had taken over the world, school would be in a computer for everyone, everyone you knew would be met from here, and we would be better typists. c: | |

Hmph.. I get annoyed when people talk about this. I think we should just do what we want, it hasn't happened in more than 2011 years, it wont happen soon.

Just like everything in the world (;
But the internet hasn't taken over the world.....maybe you haven't seen it this way buts a way to communicate and connect pretty much like cell phones. And besides....there's a whole bunch of people (like literally) who don't even have a home and yet your complaining about internet? There's tons of people who still do outdoor activities or do something else besides on the internet.

That's a really small class. Is that because of the educational system in Puerto Rico or do you go to a private school or something else? /creepycuriosity Hmm... yes and no. In some ways the world is unchanged. But the internet has hugely affected (note: notice I said affected, NOT effected. Two totally different words.) the world. Internet will play a huge role in education, no doubt about it. And without the internet Iran would have no place to rally against the government. I might expand on this later. For now, I'll be lazy.

| lol, no.
anyway, it's the parents job to stop kids and other people from getting on the computer so much. if they're adults, it's their choice.
it doesn't really matter to me, though...

I know you said everyone but I few of my friends go to school online. anyways, i agree and disagree. the internet is often taken for granted and it was initially used for miltary purposes. before people would write letters with a lot of thought and care. now we write things and it is recieved almost instantly and later on you could say "did i really say that? i wasn't thinking." It's kind of interesting the mistakes that are made because of the amount of thought we put in our words on Instant messaging or on fantage xP But in other words, it hasnt "taken over the world" it has become a daily part of our lives but some of my relatives don't really use the internet at all unless it's to pay bills. so it's a convience and a luxoury. but they are what you can call "old school" and still like to tend to their garden bottom line it hasn't taken over the world...yet
