a few days ago my lil bro was playing lbp my bro is 9 he and his friend played a lvl that contained something disturbing and inapporpite < srry if i spelled that wrong and my lil bro said to me why are those things doing tht and whats s@% and i said nothing u will learn that when your older and he said plz tell me and i said NO and now he uses that word some times i dont like it when he says the word can someone help me to stop making him say it hes just 9:(

And just ignore it. The more you tell him "no" the more he's gonna say it. When you ignore him he will get bored of it and stop.

Even if you tell him its bad he might not even stop...
(so just tell him if he says it again he would get punished or something...your parents cant just let him say it freely!!)

Actually, it's a word used in most health books, if he's not using it in "another form". It's a synonym for gender, so it's basically life. deal with it.

Ignoring him will not make him stop using the word.

I dont understand why you cant tell him that, it's a bad word, he shouldnt use it, and it means poop.

I'm sure he knows what poop is and he'll think it's fine to use the word unless someone teached him it's wrong.


Off topic question: Your brother is 9 and doesnt know what the "s" word is yet?

Instead of getting angry and trying to ignore him, you should explain to him formally and make sense to him.

Tell him that it's something everyone learns when they are older. It's life. Deal with it. If he doesn't behave and stop abusing the word, then he simply cannot ever learn what it is. Tell him it's a term used educationally and not something to be making fun of.

If he still doesn't stop, just tell him it's a grown up thing. Simple.

Tell him it's a "bad word"; most kids get scared once they think they're doing something wrong. If he's going around the house saying it "sometimes" your parents should be aware, if not then tell them. This isn't your problem, tell your parents to do something about it.
