The Girl without a Voice [[ Chapter 1 is out! ]]

The Girl without a Voice starts out with a girl [[ Olivia Forrest ]] who loses her voice when she got picked on by the whole class in grade six. Her only friends that she can bond easily with is her brown siberian husky; Coconut. But everything changes when she enters Junior High.

The boys and girls were pointing at her; laughing.

"What a geek!" A girl said.

Olivia cried and cried, she was sitting on a corner of the classroom. No teacher, only a bunch of kids laughing. Why? Because Olivia looked like a mess, she was bullied, her skirt and shirt sleeves were ripped and they put glue on her hair...

Olivia sat up, it was just a dream from when she was grade six, she never spoke ever again that day, and later that day she was bullied was when her parents died in a car crash. She now lives only with her personal caretaker; Katherine, who treats her as if she was her own.

She hopped off her bed and started to brush her long curly hair with angled bangs in a brown color, put her eye contacts on her bright blue eyes, and brushed her teeth. After that she put on a purple striped tee with a denim vest, black denim skinny jeans, and black converse sneakers.

"Olivia! Come down for breakfast!" Katherine said.

Olivia scurried down the stairs, hugged Katherine and started to cry. She knew was she was crying. Ever since that day she started to have dreams once a week and was mute for two years. It was a waste that her voice turned mute, she had a beautiful voice and would sing songs every night.

"You better go to school before you're late for the first day." Katherine said

Olivia took her bag, walked outside and took the bus to school. The bus was filthy, it had lots of dead bugs on the wall and the seats had stains on them, she didn't sit on them because she doesn't know what kind of fluids there are. About ten minutes later, she finally got out of the disgusting bus and was headed to school...

All of the other Junior High students were staring at her.

"She's really short for a Junior High student." A boy said; speaking to another boy.

Olivia's face turned red, she was embarrassed, to make it worst a group of three girls walked up to her.

"Hey shorty, what's with that shirt? It looks really ugly on that vest." The girl on the middle said, then the other girls beside her started laughing and they walked away.

Olivia tried to stop her tears from falling but she couldn't, yet she didn't make any sounds and the other students were making awkward faces at her. The class bell rung and all of the students were no where near her, she was alone until a girl about her height walked to her and she said.

"Why are you crying? Don't feel bad, I'm right here beside you." The girl said.

Once she heard the girl say that, her face lit up and had a quick vision of her parents. Since Olivia was mute she just looked at the girl.

"You must be mute just like my little brother. I'm Madison, but I'm usually called by the name Maddie." Madison said; trying to cheer her up.

Maddie pulled out a notebook with a rainbow pencil and told her,

"Write your name here, and hope we can become good friends." Maddie said.

Olivia took the rainbow pencil and notebook slowly and started writing her name on beautiful script writing.

"You have a pretty name and I like your writing, how about meet me at lunch?" She said,
"Oh, and I'll walk you to class."

Olivia for the first time ever since her parents died, smiled like she did before...

It was finally lunch time, the time when Olivia finally met Maddie's friends. As they were walking to the cafeteria, Olivia felt really nervous to meet them, she had this feeling in her gut. On the left there was a blonde, brown eyed girl wearing a sailor outfit, a brown haired, blue eyed boy who was wearing a plaid shirt, and baggy pants. On the left side was a red haired, green eyed boy who was wearing a whit shirt with a vest, and black pants. Then the last girl was a brunette wearing a pink graphic t - shirt, skinny jeans, and was watching us come to the table.

"Hey guys! We have a new friend for a mini group." Maddie started introducing Olivia and everyone looked at her when she said 'new' and 'friend', "This is Olivia. She's a newcomer, like all of us! She doesn't talk much so she writes in paper."

"What do you mean all of us? I'm in grade eight, you know." The brown haired boy with a sports magazine said; flipping his hair to the side.

"Yeah, whatever you say." Maddie said shrugging and moving to the other direction.

"I'm Mikaela, the artist of this group." The blonde girl said, giggling at the end of her sentence.

"Sean." The boy with red hair said.

Sean was simply introducing himself then went back to his eating.

"Sorry, he's the kind of guy who wants to eat first." Maddie said making a face.

Olivia nodded and took out the notebook. She took the pencil from her pocket and wrote 'How about you?" ' in big bold letters. Then showed it to the brunette.

"I'm Allison, the smart type of girl, but I can get talkative at times." The brunette said.

Olivia never thought she would be the talkative type, since she didn't introduce herself until she asked in paper.

Everyone was eating they're food. Some was bought and some were in their lunch bags. Olivia brought her own food from home; a PB & J sandwich, a bottle of water, and a few slices of apples. While the group was eating, the same group of girls that was rude to Olivia went up to their group and started blabbing about themselves!

"You guys better not come near us, or else you'll regret it." The girl in the middle said, "Let's go Julie, and Claire."

"Finally! It felt disgusting here, Ashley." The other girls Julia, and Claire said. Making it loud enough for people to hear.

Olivia was offended, but it didn't look like the others were offended like her. They were just ignoring them and eating their lunch.
