Tired [12/5/12]

Subject: Tired [12/5/12] Wed Dec 05, 2012 3:36 pm

Today was possibly the most tiring day of my life. I had a huge band performance today. In total I played for 48 minutes.
So first I had to change from my regular school uniform to the band one. So I had to wear a white button-down shirt, black plants, a black bow tie, and black shoes. People said I looked like a penguin ._.
First I got to miss first period. We performed for the elementary kids first. It was fun because they bounced in their seats an cheered.
We got a 15-minute break.
Then we performed for the high-schoolers. It was alright, but they barely clapped for us.
10-minute lunch.
Finally we performed for middle school. After playing for 30 minutes, I was really tired and didn't feel like doing my best. The middle-schoolers applauded, which made me happy.
Right now, my throat is burning and I'm lightheaded...
Pretty normal day.

I take it you play a wind instrument. I'm glad you had fun, and drink some tea for your throat. It helps.

What interment do you play??

I actually had a long band practice myself today,woah.Our music teacher gets really mad at us if we're not on the right rhythm.Its tiring for me too,ah.
I hope your throat gets better though.

I had to pratice christmas songs for my bad concert next thursday. I play clarinet

Oh, I was just practicing for a test on music tomorrow. I play the recorder.

At one point I was learning to play an irish tin whistle, but I guess I gave up on that. I'm not really an instrument person.

oh, yeah, i get lightheaded easily after playing the flute for a long period of time. maybe if you try breathing with your diaphragm more you won't be as winded?
