"Why?" Gianna replied.
"You obtained your powers from a dark source."
"But you saw for yourself! My powers are light!"
"I don't care. But you will be Class Rep, for already obtaining light powers."
"that barely makes me feel better!"
"Go meet Matthew, the Class Co-Rep. He is in the library."
"Okay..."

Gianna walked through the dimly-lit corridor to the library. It seemed all black and mysterious, the complete opposite of Gianna. And apparently Matthew. He had shoulder-length platinum blonde hair, hazel eyes, and wore a black turtleneck. His feet covered up in brown moccasins were up crossed on a table. "Yo." Matthew...he seems so laid-back...not like I thought a Dark-Side student should be. We'll, we are the Dark Student Body leaders because we have already obtained light powers...but still...

John got chosen to be a light student. Yay! Now all he had to look for was his best friend, Gianna. "She's on the Dark Side." John stood in horror. "You shouldn't be going there anyways. You still need to master dark magic. If you want to get there faster, meet the Class Rep, Sophia. She can take you, for she has mastered Dark Magic." John went to the Light Lobby, where he was going to meet Sophia.

Kaylee woke up and looked at her hair. She tried to tie it into a ponytail, but it was too short, as always. She put on the clothes that were out because the rest were on her bags. She put on a tiny bit of make-up, and then looked at her mother. "I will miss you!" She said to her. "I will too, and remember to have a good time." She said. "I'll try my best." Kaylee said. She smiled, teary-eyed, and left, her older brother behind her, helping to carry her bags. "Thanks Teth." She said, waving goodbye to her brother and sat on her mother's car. It was raining, it made her feel sad.

Sophia was a strange girl. She liked to wear black. Black headband, airy black shirt, black jean shorts. She was chewing gum and looked dementedly at John. "Well hello..."

Gianna talked to Matt some more. She learned that he was her age, and that he mastered light powers awhile ago. He seemed really interested in Gianna, though...

Kaylee walked into the school. It looked gloomy and foggy. It was still raining. She looked down at her clock. 8:30 AM. She walked towards the office, and the sky slowly started to clear. By 9:00 AM, the sun was shining on its fullest. There was a long waiting line at the office, and now it was her turn. "Please read these papers, sign them and give them back to me." The lady said. Kaylee nodded and took the papers, sat on a couch and continued to write. When she was done, she gave ti to the lady who gave her her locker key, her room key, and more stuff. "You're a light user, right?" The lady asked. "What?" She asked, and then acted like she knew. "Oh, ya, I am one."

Alumn looked around her black, dark room. She sighed as she looked at the time. Alumn looked into her small dark old closet-which she fills only with dark color clothes- dug for a rainy day outfit. Her hair thew back and she added a purple streak. Alumn was headed for her school for her new life.

At office, other teens were waiting. Finally it was her turn. The lady in the front stared at her gothly figure and handed her the room key and locker combination and some more things like books.

Alumn struggeld to open her old locker. She got frustrated she used her elbow to push it open and she threw all her junk in it.

Vincent was up at around 4:30 AM. He liked waking up while it was still dark. He grinned. "Maybe some of these kids will be weirder than me." He thought, walking into the school. A rat ran across the hall a few yards from him. Vincent grinned. He liked nocturnal rodents, most of the time. He found his locker next to a girl wearing dark clothes with a purple streak in her hair. "You know, we can all tell you're from the dark side, you don't need to dress like Darth Vader." He said with a laugh.

Alumn seen a guy next to her locker. She had heard what he said about her. Alumn rolled her eyes. "You don't need to insult me if you don't know me. I come way back so I suggest to keep whatever you want to release inside. And try taking a look at you self for once."

Alumn was mad. She didn't like people talking about the way her dark style is. "He doesn't even know me." Alumn gave another look at the boy and she thought, "That's one ignorant jerk I need to ignore."

Kaylee walked into her dorm and stood in the balcony, staring happily at the sunshine of Light. (that sounded really dumb.) She took out her books and went to her locker, opened it and placed the books in it.

Vincent smirked, closing his locker. "Touchy." He said casually, putting his hands in his pockets. "Like I'd be scared of a little girl like you. See you later." He shoved her backwards and walked out.

Kaylee smiled, and since she didn't have classes for the next few hours, she decided to spend her time on the light-side pool.

Vincent groaned. "I always do something like that." He thought, shaking his head. "I got ratted out for bullying so many times in middle school, they practically expelled me. People are just so hard to be nice to." He didn't bother apologizing to Alumn. "Who cares about her." He thought, shrugging. "She doesn't even know my name yet."

Alumn ignored Vincent's words. She walked down the hallway finally yelling "Get a life!" Alumn felt good finally standing up for herself out of 16 years being a orphan. She walked around the school for a couple of minutes till meeting Kaylee. Alumn decided to turn back as she saw a bubbly side in her, but she still went to talk to her. "Hey, I'm Alumn." Alumn said next to Kaylee. She took a seat somewhere and waited for her to reply.

"Oh, hi." Kaylee said. "You look, umm, nice."

((Yes))

Alumn knew what she was thinking. She sprung up angrily and yelled "YES I'M FROM THE DARK SIDE." She couldn't take it with people judging her. It was her time to put them in their place.

((By the way, Kaylee just joined the school.))

Kaylee turned around, confused. "Huh? What do you mean?"

((I think I'm the only one at the light side.))

Kaylee sighed. "I hate my hair." She thought.

Alumn looked confused. She doesn't know this school has powers? "Don't you know? This school is for dark powers and light powers. You do have your powers right?" Alumn asked. She looked at the girl for a second.

"Um.. ya?" Kaylee said, doubtfully. "I'm going to my dorm, do you want to help me set it up?"

"Uh..sure." Alumn said. "Let me get my things."

Alumn ran to her locker and grabbed her purple spell book. I might need it for anything anyways. She met up with Kaylee. "Lets hurry up before we miss class."

Kaylee placed things around for a few minutes, then went to the bathroom and looked at her hair. "I hate my hair! Its too short!" She said. "I wish my hair was longer!" She thought, and suddenly her hair was gone for a fraction of a second, and then her hair appeared back, but longer. "T-that didn't just happen.." She thought, braiding her hair. "Oh yes it did!" She thought.

But she still has light-blue eyes, and there is no blonde part in her hair, though it looks like it in the picture.

Alumn spied to see what was going on. She seen Kaylee's hair grow longer. Alumn busted i , "Woah what was that!" She probably has a light power She thought. Alumn peeked at her spell book to read a half ripped spell.

Matt was kind and sweet to her. They turned out they were going to be in the same periods, so they walked to class for the first couple.
