Sore Throat

I got a sore throat and I can barely talk. Anybody have a tip for that? It needs to be something quick to do because I have to go to my cousin's birthday.

Try to take some medicine meant to treat soar throats or suck on some hard sweets, maybe? You could also try drinking some cold water, milk or orange juice and see if that helps.

Basically what Cas just said. If that doesn't work, you most likely are sick and should get some antibiotics from the pharmacist.

Gargle hot water mixed with salt then spit it out. I'm sore-throat prone and I do that; it soothes and heals your throat almost immediately. Also use some vitamins if you have any.

Drink something hot (ex. tea or soup). If you don't have anything hot, put a warm cloth around your throat. Get lots of rest.
