CURSE YOU RAIN!!!

Usually, I am in school at this time. But there was no school today. Here is what happened:

My mom woke me up at 5:36 in the morning. She told me there is no school today because the roads were too flooded. So, I had turned my alarm off (which was set for 6:30AM) and went back to sleep. I was a little disheartened to hear the news . I really LOVE school and I LOVE learning, but no school on the second day? CURSE YOU RAIN!!!

Ahah D: That sucks. School never gets cancelled here, even if we have 4 feet of snow. No joke.

Actually, we're going through a heatwave right now, which is odd considering that by the end of september it's usually ready to snow...I wish the cool weather would hurry up, I'm tired of not being able to wear pants or a sweater. :L

@Abbey wow really? Where I live, if there is too much snow, the school counts it as a "snow day". On my last day of Fifth grade, the last day of school was June 20th because there was so much snow days.

oh hey, we had a blizzard too!!! our school was supposed to end at june 9th but because of the blizzard it ended at june 13th dumb eh? y would they do that?!?!? i dont like school

School never gets cancelled here either. Even on like storms or something. This one time, it was SUPER windy, and we almost flew away. lol

xD for some reason theres never actually any reason to cancel school. All but one day that we had about 1 ft of snow and the roads froze over to much for the busses to drive on.
And I looooooove rain. And I loooooooove school. And that sucks you can't go to school Hopefully tomorrow.

well, over here, school NEVER gets cancelled but when swine flue was a major concern here, we had school off for 2 weeks and then there were government problems so again....

We never get school canceled. Because there's no snow and rarely any rain (But when it finally rains, it lasts for like a week. And then I regret wanting it. xD). Study harder? ;D

School was fun but now I have all honors classes and I can't really make it fun I needa be serious now :/

@katie_forever, our snow was taller than me!!!( i had no idea how to get out of my house. and when i opened the door to my house, the only thing i saw was snow and it covered the whole door! ) oh and uh, i still dont like school because cursive and division is hard

wow thats alot of snow! The most i've had was up to my knees xD But when I lived in Ontario we had snow for soooo long. I didnt go to school then though.
And I cant even read cursive! xD and forget division. Im still working on how to count to 100 by six's.

to be honest I don't like to go to school and stuff but where I live it doesn't rain alot well it's ok about everyschool has about over 100 days of school:)

it's more harsher where i live..... oh wait...... our snow isn't that high o_o i feel sorry for you O_O...... yea ?
