Paint Tool SAI

I desperatly need Paint Tool SAI tips. All the stuff I find on youtube/google isn't helping me at all lol. My sketch currently looks like this and I need colouring tips mostly =w=

No lol. I literally downloaded it like 30 minutes ago. I normally use CanvasDraw Beta. >w<

What do you expect it to look like? And it takes a while to figure out how to use sai. I know personally, and from being with my love Abbey since she first got SAI. Just practice.

I wouldn't use the really small tool if i were you, unless you're doing sketch. if you're gonna do a sketch and then trace it, use layers. treat it like iscribble o3o

There is a free trial version up for download somewhere. I have it.

Okay, so I'm definitely not as good as Abbey when it comes to SAI, but I'll just say that you need layers.
Like, one for the actual lineart, one or more for the coloring, one or more for the shading. And one or more for the background.

The layer order should be something like this:
Lineart layer
[The sketch layer would go here somewhere, but you should make it invisible after you're done with linearting]
Shading layer(s)
Coloring layer(s)
Background layer(s)(optional, you just need this if you're planning on making a background for the drawing)

Well, that's what I do at least.

The shading layer could go above the lineart layer, that works too.
