What the heck? 1-26-12

well here it goes. there is this guy his name is cody. well i was in lunch eating and then my friend ( not really) fionna walks over and says cody is asking u out. i was like whaaat, i am so ugly. she said yes or no. but i felt bad because cody isnt a popular guy and he looks a little like a elf( not trying to be mean) then i said i dont know. i dont want to date but i felt bad u know. so i said yes. and now i feel weird and not the same. we dont talk anymore and i am mad. i wanna say lets be friends, buuuut codys friend nate said " he really likes you he told me". i feel bad if i hurt his feelings. what should i do? also, i found another new friend. also i am not going to cafeteria to eat lunch, i go to my schools consulars office and eat with people like my best friend and other 7 and 8th graders. so yeah.

Elves are awesome. People say I look like an elf so I find that a mite insulting...

Just try to put it delicately that you aren't ready for that sort of relationship right now. Try to think about how you would feel if you were rejected by someone you liked for a long time, and what you would want them to say to you.

If you really aren't feeling comfortable with him, thats a sign that your not ready for a relationship yet and you should tell him that. There was this guy named Caled. In 5th grade, he asked me out. I said no, because my parents didn't let me date so young. He looked glum but when we got to 6th grade he was laughing with a girl happily down the hall. So everything works out fine, they find their perfect match, so no need to fret.
