Vocaloid concerts {1-16-13}

I really want to know if there are any Vocaloid concerts in America for 2013. I know that there was on in California, but still.. My friend (we have been ignoring each other for a long time but we are friends again) told me that there would be a Vocaloid concert in new york city near her birthday, and she said that she made her mom promise to get Vocaloid concert tickets for me, her, and another friend.

I could not stop smiling, but I had no idea if it was true. I tried looking it up, and one website said that there were no upcoming concerts. Another one said that there was going to be one in NY.

If it is true, I am going to make sure that we get tickets to go. Oh, and I am making a Vocaloid sign to hold up in the concert! Since I live in PA it would be great to have one in NY. Or at least in the East coast.

This is just so amazing, I can not stop thinking about it.

But is there really going to be a Vocaloid concert in NY? The website said it was for 2013.

I looked it up. It is supposed to be April 23 2013. Starting at 9:00 PM. That's bad, NY is like two hours away from me, and I have school the next day. Time to convince my parents.

Lucky! Well, take pictures and/or videos, and you can upload them! I wish I could see a Vocaloid concert.

I don't think so. I am very upset. I would do ANYTHING to go to a vocaloid concert.

You would not have to come, I would go with my friends, and their parents.

(That is kind of offensive...They are not fake to me. I would make a whole paragraph why they are real but this is not a thread for that.)

You'll have fun i'm sure, but i don't believe they have any real vocaloid concerts here yet.
They will probably just broadcast a recording on some huge screen, at least that's what they did in california. They don't have the mirror stages set up to make it look like they're actually there.

I just found out that the NY concert was in 2012:( And she is having a 2013 Febuary concert in Japan:( I was really looking forward to this!

Found this thread on google and found the information myself earlier so I thought I'd share. They are doing the concert at RIT again this year but it will be limited to 400 people due to silly rules made by crypton. It also dues use the same peppers ghost projection tech that the SEGA concerts use, albeit on I'm sure lower quality equipment and without hundreds of lasers .
