Lacadia (RP)

"Heh. I can tell you're lyin'. Probably be in here a couple 'a weeks at the least," Eiru said. His eyes began to feel more and more heavy. He began to lay down again, and closed his eyes. Eiru's words grew more quiet. "'Ya know, if 'ya plannin' to stay here 'til I'm recovered, don't. It'll be a huge waste of time."

Jakobus gulped rather loudly as the monster advanced towards him. He was having a hard time resisting the urge to go ahead and kill it, but he knew this one was for Iris to take down. Still, he decided if it got too close he'd go ahead and kill it.
"Hurry up, would you!" he shouted at Iris almost right before he was (thankfully) saved by a quick shoot at the monster from her crossbow.

"It's fine, really. Not like I have anything better to do anyway." Warren replied, letting out a deep yawn and stretching out his arms. He was glad, in a way, that the kid wasn't as gullible as he could have been as it meant less lying for him, though he still didn't want to hurt the kid's feelings or anything.

"Well, 'ya could find somethin' better to do in that case," Eiru started, cut off by Warren's yawn. "Then check up on me in a week or so," he finished.

"You're just a kid, it'd be kind of stupid to leave you alone for such a long period of time, you know? 'Sides that, it's probably required for you to have some sort of parental guidance or something." he shrugged, feeling a bit sorry for the kid having to be stuck with him, and also feeling sort of sorry for himself at the same time.

"I'm 19, 'scuse 'ya. I don't need a parental whatever 'ya said. If 'ya wanna stay though, I guess I can't stop 'ya," he said, his eyes starting to open a bit and voice getting a bit back to a normal volume.

"Oh..." Warren replied quietly, not knowing what else to say. He rose up out of the seat he'd been sitting in and wiped himself off a bit.
"Well, I guess if you really want me gone I'll leave then." he said, slowly turning around to exit the room, waiting for Eiru to at least say a 'goodbye' or something.

"'Ey, before 'ya leave, I just wanna say thanks for gettin' me here. Maybe I'll see 'ya once I get outta here." Eiru mustered. He felt pretty bad, not doing much but getting injured, and acting like a huge a**hole towards Warren.
His eyes closed yet again, not expecting a reply from Warren.

Her shot was just below the back of its skull.  "Vital spot!" she yelled over, proud of herself.  The monster had fallen to the floor once it recieved a massive shock to its spine. The way it fell seemed kind of funny, it stopped for a moment and hit the ground, headfirst and to the side.

"Congratulations." Jakobus remarked sarcastically, taking a few steps toward's the monster's body. He wasn't sure if it was completely dead yet and felt around its ribs and such areas a bit with the tip of his foot, trying to check if there was any breathing going on or anything, which it turned out there was a little bit of, but it was very faint and slow, so he assumed the monster would be out completely soon.

Warren turned around to smile back at Eiru. "Yeah, sure, kid." he responded before adding on a quick, "I, uh, might check up on you occasionally if you don't mind?"
He managed a quick half smile to Eiru before turning his back towards him and slipping out of the door to the hospital room, lightly, quietly shutting the door behind him.

Iris ran over to the creature, her sharp, high soles rapidly clinking against the floor. "My bolts are metal," she stated, loosely wrapping her hand around the one merged in its eyeball. "Look away." She pulled the bolt out its eye, closing hers, and bringing along juices with it. Gloves helped in situations like these.

Cilex drunkenly stumbled alomg the path, somehow he had gotten past the guards. Of course, he didn't remember of being drunk was against code Or not but whatever.
Either way, he hadn't encountered a monster yet, which he was equally happy and disappointed about. It seemed as if someone had already killed all of them.

Jakobus decidedly tried his best not to look away. It was rather silly, actually, but had he obeyed her orders he would've felt inferior in some way or another, even if they weren't really 'orders' so much as they were a kind suggestion.
"It's fine." he finally replied. "This is nothing, really. I've seen much worse."

"Your memories," she told him, shrugging. She snatched out the bolt underneath his ear next, blood oozing out like sap from a tree. It quickly trailed down its neck and made a small puddle onto the floor.

"More reasons to drink." he replied coolly, doing the nyeh with his face. He watched with a heavy mixture of disinterest and disgust as the bodily fluids flowed from the flesh wound on the monster, nearly cringing at the sight of it. He wondered if it was really necessary for her to remove all the bolts from the wounds, but he dare not ask in fear of being confronted with some 'witty' (and he used the term very loosely) reply from her.

She rushed to the bolt in the neck, then finally, the one on its front foot. Each had left a deep wound, especially the ones on the neck and foot. It had left a lot of bleeding, and Iris was disappointed seeing as it would have to die a slow death.

"Stab it," she told him. "hurry."

"Why?" he asked before very honestly stating the painfully obvious, "It's already dying, right?"
After saying the last part he began to wonder if it actually was dying or if it had some sort of spontaneous regeneration skills he wasn't aware of and it was going to randomly pop back up and eat him at any minute. "I...I don't want to die yet..." he dramatically whispered to himself under his breath.

"Just put it out its misery," she said. "please." She didn't like making things suffer. After all, it's never a monster's fault it's evil. They're just made that way.

Sligen groaned as she woke up from her nap. She sat up, rubbing her eyes as the thin, patterned green blanket fell off of her chest,  clumping up on her legs. Groaning, she pulled the covers from her legs, and slid out of bed. She stretched, yawning. She walked  around her small room, and glanced at the cracked mirror hanging on the back of her closed door. She had fallen asleep in a forest green shirt that had a stain on it, along with a pair of old boxer shorts. She ruffled her electric blue hair through her pale fingers. She decided she'd get ready. So, she changed into a red shirt, practically a copy of the green one, only a different colour. She slipped out of the boxer shorts and into a fairly short green skirt, that she wasn't very fond of and had borrowed from Percy. It was tight around her waist, but otherwise it was pretty good. She walked out of her room barefoot, not even bothering to try and tame her messy hair. Her eyes were watery and she could feel the plague layered on her teeth. As she made her way into the kitchen, she washed her face and mouth out, filling slightly more refreshed. She realized Percy and Jackson were still sleeping, and groaned. Itching her head, she stared out the large window, wandering whether or not she should try to do something useful today.

"You mean, it's not already dead by now?!" Jakobus scoffed, his fear now turning into anger. He unsheathed his sword as quickly as possible, though his movements were still sort of sloshy.
Closing his eyes and mentally counting to three, he brought the sword down through the monster's abdomen, piercing it through the monster as far as it would go and even rotating it inside of the monster a little for extra effect.

She thanked him before speaking. A small amount of blood was splattered on her face, but she quickly wiped it away with her forearm. "Good kill. It was paralyzed, but it was not dead. You cannot be 100% sure with vital attacks, all monsters are different."

"I knew that." Jakobus forced an eye-roll at Iris' comments, attempting to look as if he 'knew it all', though in reality those facts had most likely been told to him during class training, but long since completely escaped his mind.
He slid his sword back into its sheath, letting his hands fall back at his sides after he had let go of the hilt. "Shall we continue on, then?" he inquired, eager to meet (and kill) the next monster.

Sligen decided she'd go to the market and buy some more vegetables. After all, her family's supply was running low and she always liked to have more than a little. So, after making sure Percy and Jackson were still sleeping, she pulled on her green sweater, and slipped into her construction boots, tying them up. She opened the door, and a gust of wind slammed against her face. Groaning, she closed the door, stomping through the cinder streets.

"Sure," she accepted, getting up and stretching her arms. After collecting the bolts, she put them into her quiver, each one making a clicking noise once it was placed in. Iris took two large steps around and over the monster, raising her arms each one. "Next one may be a boss."

“A boss?” Jakobus asked, secretly hoping the boss would be a furry he could yiff to. He began thinking of a sexy furry picture he had seen earlier and soon had to wipe away a bunch of drool off of his face. Man, those furry girls (or were they guys? No one would ever really know for sure he supposed) never failed to make him ~the nasty~.

"Close your mouth," she demanded, looking at his face. Drool was making its way down his chin, and he looked pretty dazed. Something told her she didn't want to know why. Ignoring it, she turned her head to the front of her, and she could see the dungeon walls getting smaller. There was a sudden dead end to the path, but she was too far away to assure that.
