how do you guys make such amazing banners on gimp i can't even get the layer panel to show up on 2.6.1 it's so frustrating. it'd be so cool if someone could give me a little tutorial... ;3

i posted a whole tutorial in fantageluver's topic oh and just go to windows and click the first option windows should be on top of your screen

Or if you just want the layers part press CTRL+L .
