Failing in math 2-27-12

Note- this topic so NOT FOR attention

Ok so I just got my math test back and... Guess what. I FAILED! I feel so dumb and yea so everyone else got A's and B's and I got a C.

a C isnt failing, it is passing. it might not be the best grade, but at least it is passing. Also stay after with ur math teacher to get help if u still dont get it or ask for help. that is why teachers are there.

Really? I bet if my work was graded I would be worse. Lol you are doing great.

Well I guess you can pm me some of the test questions that you don't get. Since you're the same age as me, then I can help. If being good at math means getting straight a's then I would be glad to help! Don't worry. In 3rd grade I always got like D's and everything. But I guess I'll try to help you.

At least it wasn't an F. I've failed 2 of my tests this year, but passed them when i re took them. I freaked out when i got a C in math. i'm used to D's and F's.

I suppose I could help you if necessary, I'm pretty good at math.

You're probably doing multiplication and division right? It's all focus. You know the process to get to the answers, right? If not PM me, and I'll break it down into steps for you.

Take it slow if you have to. If you know the process, the only reason you're failing is because of sloppiness. Remember, math is exact. If one number is off, the whole answer is wrong. So dont blow through things. Take your time and be thorough.

A C is not bad at all, in fact, it's excellent!! Next time, you've just got to be confident that you'll get an A or a B and study hard. It'll work

I agree.

I dont like how people nowadays, when giving advice, tell others to settle for less. Dont settle for less, trust me. It leads to becoming a slacker. I know from experience. Just use your experiences and mistakes to better yourself for the future.
