Of course I'm not what people expect me to be. Why should I be? I don't know why I should be. I'm not going to be.
But when you lose everyone you love for no reason, really, that hurts. It sucks freaking eggs.
Natt, let me tell you, Natt wasn't one to follow rules, I knew he never would be, and he wasn't one to apologize.
He was one to kill.
He killed my family because he'd murdered my sister, who was pregnant with a baby he didn't want. He knew they'd find out, as in, my parents, but he didn't want them to.
I don't know why.
I don't know why he ruined my family for no reason.
I don't know why he left me alone.
I don't know why my sister had to trust him with his cigarette.
I don't know why I'm writing about this.
All I know for sure is that I'm brave.
And brave people prosper. | |
