Hunger Games - RP

Mabel frowned. 7. Tesserae and Terma got 11 and 10, respectively. But she got a 7. Wayne got an 8. Her eyes stung with tears, and Henry rolled his eyes. "Relax. I had a tribute, named Meloney. Everyone called her "Miss Melon. Can you believe that? The gamemakers gave her a 3. Her demonstration was the worst. By far. But you know what? She won. Oh, she was amazing. Smart, dangerous, but most of all, she didn't let anyone stop her. Now come on. Time to get ready." Mabel nodded. Her prep team immeadiately pushed her into the dressing room. Her long hair was tied up into a complicated bun and left one bang hanging at the side of her head, neatly curled. Her face was covered with so much blush, concealer and cream that her prep team had to do it twice since Mabel had sneezed it off. They made her lips sparkle with gloss and glitter and made her eyelids a light, soft blue. They gave her golden apple earrings instead of silver, and stuck a small piece of barely in her hairband. Her nails were a soft pinkk and her shoes were a slightly darkershade of pink and were flats. There was a small bow on each. Her dress was white and covered with glittering gold fruits, covering almost every inch of  it. The dress had a glittering gold ribbon around the waist and tied of at the tide, leaving about a foot of ribbon hanging there. Its lining was shimmering gold too. Her arms were covered with gold bangles halfway up to her elbow. She was afterward pushed to the elevator and sent to backstage. Ceaser Flickerman (He's alive?) welcomed them and the other tributes.

Terma was extremely happy with her score. She was taken to the interview place, backstage. The first tributes were called. She remembered her training. Caesar was probably going to ask/comment about her score. She'd have to say she was proud, but she couldn't seem too braggy.

So Ceasar would be 35 at youngest, perhaps, during the 74th hunger games, and now Ceasar would be 20 or something? It could be possible.))

Mabel and the other tributes were ushered onto the stage. She sat on her seat and looked at the crowd below. The camera man signaled 3…2…1…"Hello people of Panem! Ceasar Flickerman here, live from the Capitol! Here we have our 24 tributes of the 59th Hunger Games! So lets start the interviews!"

((I made a new tribute, Danell. She got a 9 in her training.))

Danell's short blonde hair was put into a french braid. She fit nicely in a red-pink dress. Her eyes were adorned with red eyeliner and pink eyeshadow. Her prep team stuck long fake eyelashes and did her nails in a golden color. She was thrown into the elevator and went backstage.

Terma was called. She walked onto stage. Caesar warmed up the audience with a couple jokes. "People of the Capitol, this is Terma June, the female tribute from District 7. How are you today, Terma?" Terma sat down on her chair and crossed her legs. She gave a gracious smile. Then she looked at the audience. Then she turned back at Caesar. "Oh, I'm great Caesar. I feel great." Terma says. "You look great!" Caesar said. "Oh, thanks, you're embarrassing me!" Terma says, giggling. The audience laughs, along with Caesar. "What do you think about the Capitol?" Caesar asks, looking at the crowd. "It's great, you know? I've met amazing people." Caesar gasped and laughed. "Like who?" Terma looked up at the ceiling. "Well, like you.. or like my escort, Filley. My prep team, they're great too." Caesar smiled his million-dollar smile. "Clearly your prep team is amazing! Look at what they've done!" They're made me pretty for my murder. Terma thought. But she kept up her smile. "Now, Terma, I've got something serious to talk about." Caesar said. "What?" Terma asked. "It's about your sister." Caesar says. Terma looked down. "Oh." Caesar sighed. "It's hard to talk about." Terma commented. "My sister, she was born while I was in the train. I missed her birth." Terma barely managed to finish it. "But I'm going to see her. Caesar. I'm going to win for her. I'm not afraid to win!" Terma's voice grew into a shout. Caesar gave her a hug. "I know, Terma. Good luck." Caesar said. Then her time was over. "Terma June, everybody!" Caesar says. They joined hands and Terma bowed.

Mabel was called up. Ceasar introduced her to the crowd. "Mabel West, district 11. Welcome to the capitol. So, I believe Melinda had a slight complication with your name. She called you Nasal Vest?" The crowd roared with laughter, but Mabel managed not to blush and stay strong. "Yep. Nasal Vest." she said. Ceasar grinned. "Confident you'll win?" he said. "You bet. I will win." Mabel replied proudly. "Well, 7's a very lucky number, right?" Ceasar continued. "I won't need luck, Ceasar. I'm going to own this Hunger Games, and if I don't make it out alive…I'll know I've tried my best. Winning isn't everything, it's more like I want to be remembered. A kid from district 2 could win, and no one would really care. No offense." The crowd chuckled. "But if someone from district 12 won, that would be something. And I want to be something. Not some dead tribute thrown back to their district in an old wooden box. Something part of Hunger Gams history." Mabel said. Ceasar nodded. "You think that you can do something? Something big?" he said. Mabel nodded. "I'm going to do that. And I will be remembered. I will!" Mabel hoppedup, and her golensparkles glittered.  "Mabel West, district 11!" Ceasar exclaimed, and Mabel allowed Wayne to come and she moved back into her seat.

Danell sat down next to Caesar. She was 13. She was supposed to look mysterious and intriguing. "How are you today, Danell?" Caesar asked politely. "I'm great. You?" Danell answered. Caesar smiled. "What do you think about the other tributes?" Caesar asked. "Oh, well, there is some competition, like always. Good tributes, good alliances as well. I think it will be.. interesting." Danell's interview continued for the next 30 seconds.

((What district is Danell from? Sorry to ask so many questions…))

Mabel watched Danell closely as she was interviewed. She was the one who got a 9, but she couldn't quite remember which district she was from. She thought of this girl as a threat, possibly, since she seemed strong and smart. Mabel chewed her lip. Whatever. She looked sneaky, mysterious. Then again, Ceasar thought Mabel's parents were still alive, the only reason he never asked. The capitol covered it up completely, so President Snow (he's old enough I think) and a few other Capitol athorities knew about it. They wanted to cover up the fact that a monster from the Capitol, a genetically modified bear, was raging through Panem. Crazy.

((Danell is from District 10.))

Danell smiled as she walked out and went up to her room. That was it. In 8 hours, she'd be woken up to get into the arena. She tied her hair into a braid and went to sleep.

Terma stepped onto the warm bath-water. It was huge. Jets filled the water with warm bubbles and a strange machine massaged her feet. When she was done, she took out a towel and wrapped it around herself. She turned around to look at the filthy bathwater, covered in glitter. She cleaned her face out of make-up, put on soft, silky pajamas and fell asleep on the bed.

Mabel tossed and turned in her bed. She was excited and scared at the same time. The clock read 10:00. She had to get a sufficient amount of sleep. She needed to be fast. She got up and looked for a medicine cabinet. She found one, and looked for sleep pills until she gave up and surprisingly, passed out.

Terma was woken up by her prep team. They made her take a bath. She said her goodbyes, and went hand in hand with Tyson into the hovercraft. She sat on her seat and the tracker was injected into her arm. Mason was blocked from her view. Terma sighed. She hoped the alliance would work out. But she had to keep her eye out for Mabel. She didn't seem too trustworthy.

Danell woke up. Her prep team was looking at her. She was cleaned and she said bye to her district partner, her escort and her prep team. Then she got into the hovercraft, her seat was next to Tessarae's.

Tesserae stared at her nails. The bright blue nail polish from her interview was chipping, but still noticeable. She frowned. It was too bright. Sighing, she looked at Terma, giving her a grin. "You ready?" She whispered, her blonde locks bobbing as she spoke. Tesserae rubbed her arm. The tracker injection had left a red circle around the area.

"I was born ready." Terma commented. Her voice turned into a hushed whisper. "Remember our plan. Both of us into the bloodbath. Mason and Mabel go hide." She smiled. The hovercraft landed. She was put in the room with Cael. He did her hair; a double braid headband and the rest curled. Then he took out the rope bracelet. "Your token." Cael whispered, smiling. Terma smiled back. He took out and outfit. It was a black waterproof outfit, with green and brown lines across the back, that join to make a circle. Inside the circle, is the number '7' in white, with brown waterproof boots. "There's going to be water, trust me." Cael said. Terma nodded. "There was a swimming pool at the training center." Terma said. "Of course," Cael commented. "Pretty obvious." Terma walked into the glass tube. 10 seconds until launch.

Danell's hair was straightened. She put on her uniform with the help of her stylist. They did two french braids through her hair and tied it up into a high ponytail. "You look great." Her stylist commented. "Thanks." Danell answered. Her eyes were outlined with black eyeliner when he took out her token. It was a ring, with a small pearl on it. Her family was rich, but they didn't waste money on diamonds. Danell walked into the tube.
She needed to get her hands on a crossbow and some throwing knives.

(PLEASE DON'T START WITHOUT ME!!)

Maye sighed, taking a step into her glass tube with her uniform on. "I guess this is it......" She looked at her surroundings as she was carried up.

Terma surfaced in the arena. Her pedestal was surrounded by waves. The cornucopia was out in an island in the center. The water was cold. The beach had some sharp rocks mixed into the sand. Then forests spread out, until it suddenly ended. Probably a cliff. She spotted a lake in the forest. Her eyes looked around for her alliance. She looked at Mabel. In her hand speech, she said; "There's a small lake pointing north. Let's take that place." Mason nodded. Tessarae was 4 tributes away from her, and she did the same thing.

Danell's eyes looked around. Swimming. Great. She was quick, after all she would swim to pick up some eggs from the river. The water didn't look shallow. It seemed extremely deep. It could be filled with animals. But she shrugged it off. That didn't sound like something a Game-Maker would do. Her eyes spot one crossbow. There were throwing knives scattered around. That was it. She would make it. She just needed to swim out there, grab a backpack or a first aid kit, her crossbow and as much throwing knives as she could. "Let the 59th Hunger Games begin!" Claudius Templesmith said before starting the countdown.

Everything is piled up inside the silver Cornucopia.

3 large, heavy curved swords.
5 packs of throwing knives (each one has 12)
3 spears
4 medium-sized swords
2 bows and arrows
1 crossbow
4 quivers of arrows for crossbows and bows and arrows(each one has 10)
7 small throwing axes
5 big axes

2 first aid kits
4 pieces of long rope
6 pieces of short rope
11 small packs of dried fruit
4 packs of medicine
9 bags with apples
13 canteens with water purifying pills
7 small backpacks
4 medium backpacks
2 large backpacks

Combat rules:

When making a hit to another tribute or animal, etc, (It doesn't count if you kill a bug, though,) then you must use this random generator to get a number out of 10.

Every tribute has 15 HP. If you go down to 0, you lose. The only way to regain HP is to use medicine from the Cornucopia or a sponsor.

Check this depending on what number you got.

Mabel nodded, and sent a reply back: "Okay. We will try to kill the tributes who come." she stared at the cornicopia, and desperately wanted to steal a nearby pack containing a bow and a sheath of arrows; to find a pack of knives and throw them. She sent another signal. "I like bows and throwing knives. I might hang out in a tree and mistake you for another tribute, so be ready if you find one flying at you." Ceasar counted down. 10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1…

The gong banged. The mines were deactivated and Terma jumped right into the water. In strong strokes, she swam freestyle until the Cornucopia. Because of Tessarae's lessons, she had learned quickly. She saw Mason run into the forest. The girl from District 5 ran into the opposite direction in the forest, but there was no sign of Mabel or Tessarae. She took a medium-sized backpack and slung it over her back. She picked out four canteens and 3 packs of dried fruit which she put inside her backpack. She picked out a trident for Tessarae, a bow and arrow for Mabel, and a pack of throwing knives, when Danell threw a knife at her. She avoided it when she saw the Career pack coming. She took a little medicine and ran away, towards the direction. She hoped Tessarae would fight off the rest, because tributes were arriving.

Danell spotted Terma and jumped off. She took out a canteen, 2 packs of dried fruit, a spear, her crossbow, a sword and 12 throwing knives. She took one out and sent it flying towards Terma, who dodged it. Danell cursed under her breath and swam off the island into the woods.

Mabel ran off next to Mason, gaining on him until she sped past him and ran intothe forest. After nimbly dashing through the trees she found the pond, and found a long stick. Since she didn't have a weapon, she would use this instead for now. Mason came, and she gathered a stick for him. "You…sure…are…fast!" he gasped. Mabel nodded. "Okay. I'll pelt any intruders with rocks and hit them with a stick. You grab them and beat them down." Mason nodded and Mabel scurried up a tree. She hid in the leaves, and Mason hid in a bush. She gathered a few pine cones and got ready to throw. She could easily hop from tree to tree. Just then, the boy from district 6 burst through the trees. Gasping, he trudged toward the lake for a drink. Mabel threw a pinecone from above. It hit the tribute square on the head, and Mabel threw two more. Then she quickly hopped to another tree, closer to the tribute. She poked him hard with the stick n the eye She did this again. Mason then hopped on top of the tribute and punched him. Mabel scurried down the tree, grabbed a knife from the tribute's pack, and stabbed the district 5 boy in the neck. A canon boomed, and Mabel and Mason grabbed the orange pack and the boy's other possesions. They looked inside and found:

1 piece of long rope
1 bow
1 quiver of arrows
1 pack of dried fruit
1 one canteen with water purifying pills
1 knife pack
2 bags of apples.

Mabel grinned. "We killed one. High five!" Mabel said, and hiigh fived Mason

((The cannons sound after the bloodbath))

Terma ran to the place where Mabel and Mason hid, when she spotted a dead body. She sighed and plopped down all her stuff. She opened the backpack and found a blue sleeping bag and a canteen.

Danell ran into the woods and made a couple snares. She spotted a bunny and threw her spear at it. She pulled out the spear and started cooking it in a fire.

The District 9 male tribute kills both from District 3 before being stabbed by the District 2 male. The Careers get greedy on the Cornucopia. The district 2 female wounds the 12-year old girl from District 5, but she manages to get away. The girl from district 6 makes an alliance with the boy from 5 and they set on a hike uphill in the woods. The girl from district 9 kills Danell's district partner and the male from district 11 gets badly wounded by the Careers. The boy from 6 gets killed by the 2nd alliance. Both tributes from 8 get in the Career's track and end up dead. The girl from 12 is wounded by Danell and killed by her district partner, who was later killed by the boy from 4, who joins the Careers. Finally, the Careers gather resources and go into the woods.


In total, there were 8 deaths in the bloodbath.

Mabel grinned. "Yeah, he-" suddenly a knife whizzed past her ear. The girl from district 6 appears, and sees the dead body of the boy from district 5, her teammate. Mason grabs her from behind and tries to choke her when Mabel stabs her. She goes limp and Mason lets go, brushing his hands off in disgust. "Okay, we need to let the hovercrafts take them." Mabel said. She takes the district 6 girl's pack and puts her hand with the district 5 boy's hand, and runs up into the tree to hide. The hovercraft appears, taking the dead tributes, holding hands, away. Mabel scurries back down and hears a loud boom. The canons. They keep going and going. 9 dead tributes. Only...15 to go. She opens the pack and finds:

1 pack of knives
1 bag of apples
2 pieces of short rope
1 a canteen with water purifying pills
1 large, heavy curved sword.

Mabel looked at the sword in awe. She decided to take a swing and tried to hit a nearby rabbit. Unfortunately, the sword flies out of her hands from the uncontrollable weight and decapitates the rabbit. The swotd's tip is stuck into a tree. Mabel rips it out, smilung. "This is the greatest thing in capitol kind!" she exclaimed. "Though…we need someone strong. It's very dangerous, and we need someone who can easily control it. Or else it could hurt one of us." she looked at the blade. Beautiful.

((actually, we killed the boy from 6, not 5, but whatever.. their alliance is still going..))

Mason picked up the sword. It was quite heavy, but he knew how to handle it. He used to use heavy axes to cut down large trees. He swung it in the air, getting used to the weight. He looked at its sharp blade and smiled. "This is a pretty good sword."

((Okay I'm confuzled...who's dead???))

Mabel nodded. "Okay. It's settled then? Mason gets the sword?" she said. She picked up her decapitated rabbit. "Dinner."

((Everyone I mentioned in my other post, and you recently killed the girl from 6.. right?))

Terma nodded and took out her pack of dried fruit. She bites at a slice of dry pear, when the cannons sound. Terma looks into the sky and counts every one, biting her lip. She thought about the girl from district 5. She was so small.. did she make it? She'd have to wait until night to find out. "That was a small bloodbath," it was all she said. She held in a sigh and bit into her dried apple.

Danell fiddled with her spear. She finished her food and climbed up a tree. She counted 9 cannons and sighed.

Mabel grinned, and built a small fire. She quickly cooked the rabbit and put the fire out, since it was nearing dusk. She used some tall and strong reeds to create a trap, in which if a human were to step on it they would be hung upside down by the ankle. "Okay." she whispered. "We sleep in the trees. I'll keep watch. If you feel a sharp pinch, get up right away and don't scream in pain. It will be helpful if the tribute thinks I'm alone. I'll secure the sleeping bags in." Mabel scurried up the tree and used the small rope to secure the sleeping bags from the packs in place. Bang. "A canon!" Mabel whispered. A few minutes afterward, the anthem played and it showed all 9 tributes who died in the bloodbath AND...the boy from district 3? Who killed him? The large board showed the tribute dying, at the hads of the small district 5 tribute. Just then, another boom. Another dead tribute, this time from 9. That district 5 girlwas tough. "Oh no..." Mabel whispered

((If I messed up with the numbers oops…also I'm assuming every pack has a sleeping bag...lets just say 11 dead tributes...))

((i don't want to sound mean, but please dont control the deaths... the anthem sounds at night.. it's 4:30 in the Games.. I'm the game-maker..))

Danell was thirsty. She hadn't got a sleeping bag, and her canteen was empty. She walked around searching for water. She knew the water in the beach was salty.

EVERYONE IS FAR APART. The audience from the Capitol is complaining. "It's no fun." A warm breeze blows. It gets colder. The trees swing. The trees slowly are losing balance. They're collapsing. The only way to escape is to get to the beach or get crushed by a tree.

"This will surely get them closer together," The game-maker thought. A cannon booms, meaning the death of another tribute.
