5 Easy Steps to Writing A Perfect Story

Hey guys. "Back in the days" on FF and on the old forum I use to write stories, and that was just my skill to write good stories that people will like and read. Having trouble getting people to read your story? Don't think it's not as good as you want it to be? That's alright, because I'm going to give you an easy and quick 5 step guide to writing an amazing story.

STEP 1
First off, take time to brainstorm a good story idea. Think-

-what kind of stories do people like?
-who are the main characters staring in the story and what are their personalities?
-are their similar stories on the forum? (important to look for, because you might end up copying someone's story and they'll get mad at you)

STEP 2
Now that you have your idea, give it a good title. I mean a REALLY good title. Example, if the story is about an orphan looking for friends and a place to live, you should name the story something like "The Loner's Life" or "Orphan Walk". Or you can simply name your story simply "The Orphan".

STEP 3
VERY important: your story has to have the right capitalization, punctuation, GRAMMAR, etc. etc. etc. Practice your typing skills before writing a story.

STEP 4
Jot down a few ideas on Notepad or a piece of paper on who the main characters are, the entire idea of the story, the ending on the story, etc. Basic idea: plan the beginning, middle, and ending of the story. Or you can write a chapter, wait awhile to think about the next part/chapter of the story, then continue writing your story, instead of planning the story "all in one".

FINAL STEP
You should put your story in your signature or announce it to a couple of friends on the shout box and ask them what they think of the story, or the first part of it. Speaking of that, if you think you can write an entire story without waiting a couple of days to add new chapters, go for it. Keep adding new ideas. You'll become an amazing story writer. Hey, you might make a sequel to the story! You never know.

I also write stories. I would like to point out a few tips...

• Don't rush it. Take your time. If you rush it, it won't turn out good and you'll miss out on some readers.

• When something happens in the plot; don't make it too easy to predict what happens next. But don't make it so unexpected that the whole thing doesn't make sense either!

• Read the story every once and again while you're writing. Ask someone else to read it and see if they can spot any mistakes.

• Have fun!
