Advice..Please?

Well yesterday my friend came to visit and wanted me to check her finished essay report at school. As I skimmed trough her report I notice a lot of errors and words all over the place. So I said " I think you need to fix some of these mistakes." All of a sudden she decided to lash out and cry. She said "What did I do wrong? I thought it was perfect." Then she took her report, packed up and left. Did I do anything wrong? Was I harsh on her? I can tell that she overreacts sometimes. Especially criticism .How can I help her handle criticism?

You could nicely point the mistakes out and say "this is what you might want to fix. Carefully explain it to her."

I mean who on earth cry's when someone says they need to fix something?
Anyways its good thing you told her, people shouldn't be fed lies.

As long as you didn't yell it or something, you didn't do anything wrong. Like DarkManor said, she was overreacting.

Um, yes. That is kind of stupid, considering that she does have mistakes. As long as you said it normally and din't scream of course.

Maybe you should explain why she had mistakes, and probably talk to her. So she wouldn't over react with criticism.

just say it carefully. i think she is over reacting, well unless you yelled.
