Aria walked into the waiting room. I wonder who the other people will be. I hope I'm not the only one experimenting. She went to sit in a recliner and yanked out her Nintendo DS. While her game was loading, she looked at her invitation wrote in nice handwriting. Why did Professor Hansen ask her to experiment is new invention?

Summer quietly walked into the waiting room and sat down. She looked around, not knowing what to do. I wonder what the experiment is, she thought.

Aria looked at the girl reading a history textbook. She quickly looked back down though. Eye-contact was scary to her and she often looked down while she talked. Plus, she felt a weird vibe coming from her. Aria also noticed another girl. She doesn't look mean. Maybe I'll try talking to her. She quickly slipped her DS into her purse and walked up to the girl. "Hi, I'm Aria," she said softly. "Are you here for the experiment too?"

Summer looked at the girl. "Hi. I'm Summer, Thomas. I mean Summer Thomas." she smiled, and laughed a bit. "Don't mind that, I get nervous easily." she blushed, then continued. "And, yeah. I'm here to try out the new experiment! I don't know what it is, though, but it sounds fun!"

Alyssa arrived a little late. "I'm sorry.." She smiled. "When do we start?"

"Yeah same here Summer! The experiment sounds fun, but I'm worried we might get killed in the process." Aria turned towards Alyssa. "Um, hi. We're actually a bit early."

"Killed in the process?" Summer frowned. "I actually didn't think of that. Well, I sure hope we don't!"

Aria brushed her hair out of her eyes. "I guess so." Aria slowly walked over to the snack table and grabbed some grapes, trying to avoid eye contact.

"I cant wait.." Alyssa said. "I wondered why they chose us.. I mean.. Why us? Why not someone else?"

Summer looked at Alyssa. "I don't know. Maybe we're special," she said, smiling. Then she saw the snack table, so she went over and got some water. "I cant wait for what's in store for us," she said.

Ella rushed into the waiting room. "Am I late?" She asked some group of girls. They seemed pretty nice.

Aria looked towards the new girl. "No...Um..." Aria said, thinking of what to say. "Would you like some refreshments? Are you here for the experiment?" She looked down at the ground while talking and hoped the girl won't be offended by her.

She ran into the room at full speed. "Hello everyone, I'm Winsome!" she boldly proclaimed and smiled. She could see people were already there; one girl had opened a textbook! Did that girl even know what"fun" meant? She glanced quickly around again and proceeded to make herself comfortable in a cozy armchair.

Aria looked at Winsome What a odd name. She smoothed out her skirt and started to play her DS again.

"Oh, I'm Ella and yeah, I'm here for the experiment.." Ella replied. "So when do we start?" She asked.

As Aria got up to grab some water, Professor Hansen appeared and invited everyone into his lab. Aria's hand was sweating and she began to breathe really hard. This is it Aria. Time to face your fears!

Ella was nervous. Professor Hansen had invited everyone in. She glanced at Aria, who was sweating and breathing hard. Don't be nervous Ella, what could go wrong? she asked herself.

Summer excitedly followed the others, but at the same time she was a teeny bit nervous. Aria had mentioned being killed during the experimentation, and that thought was echoing in her mind. I really don't want to be killed. I'm only a teen! I'm too young to die!

Aria reached the lab first and changed into some diving suits she received from the professor. It has to be something with water. Then she saw the time machine.

Ella looked at Aria, strangely. Why does she have a diving suit on? Ella thought. But she couldn't find out the answer because...There it was, a time machine. At least that's what she thought.

Diving suits? Summer raised an eyebrow, but put it on anyways. She looked at Aria and followed her gaze to see the time machine. "Woah! What does diving suits have to do with time machines, though?" She asked, with a frown.
