Book of the Dead RP APPS! (OPEN!)

You and a couple of your friends have decided to go up to a cabin for a vacation. The cabin is located deep in the woods in the middle of nowhere. Not too long after you arrive, one of your friends stumbles across an old tape recorder as well as a book. Your friend, using the aforementioned tape recorder, plays the tape. One of your friends gets very uneasy so you and your friends go outside to search for a way out, only to find that the bridge connecting the woods to the town has been completely destroyed! You also find that the outdoors have been completely taken over by the demonic spirits and nothing is safe any longer.
I’ll leave the plot at that! The rest of it depends on how the players choose to play and what they choose to do with the story.

You’re allowed to have multiple characters! Two is the limit, though.
The majority characters must be seventeen or older! I’ll allow a couple of people to be under the age of seventeen, but only if they’re somehow related to an older character.
No Mary Sues or anything!
Don’t make your character completely ~unstoppable~ or anything! That just makes the roleplay boring.
Don’t be afraid to get involved with your fellow roleplayers and their characters! Roleplaying isn’t any fun without interaction.
Romance and cursing are tolerated, but please don’t go overboard.
Please follow the general rules for roleplaying.
You can use absolutely anyone as your character’s face claim!
You’re allowed to use gifs with your roleplaying, but please keep them under spoilers and don’t overuse them.
Feel free to be a character from the actual movie if you want!
Be active!
You can't be a Gamemod and a character at the same time, but you can become a Gamemod after your character dies.
