Slave - RP APPS

You are a slave, a person who's sole reason for existence is to labor for another. How you got in this situation varies. Perhaps you were kidnapped from your home country and taken here, perhaps you were simply born into slavery. You are not paid, or fed, or really taken care of at all. When you disobey you are punished brutally, sometimes even killed. Running away would warrant instant death should you be found, but perhaps you believe you have the guts to do so. Do you?

. Personality: Lorne is sullen and somewhat off-seeming at times. He never really gets angry, but he seems perpetually annoyed. He's of average intelligence and values common sense over bravery.

. Bio (optional): Lorne was born into slavery, and has never known freedom in his entire existence. He no longer lives with his parents, as they were both sold off to other slave owning families for more money. Lately he's been thinking of escaping, but hasn't gone through with the plan yet. He sometimes steals things from his masters, and has been caught at it occasionally, giving him a poor reputation and low level of trust. Although physically weakened by neglect and abuse, Lorne is fairly intelligent and uses that fact to his advantage.

She can be mean and snobby but thats because everyone around her is like that.

She can suddenly have a panic attack in the middle of the night, or start sweating, and her hands would go numb and her knees would wobble side to side.

. Bio (optional): Aqua was born into a tribute in an island with ancient traditions. The island was a tropical paradise, and tourists were asked not to disturb natives. One day, Aqua got dangerously close to a tourist. Her parents warned her. One day, she saw a man on the beach. The man was dressed in black and he was carrying a large bag. Aqua wanted to learn more about this clothing and went to ask the man. However, the man picked her up and dropped her into the bag filled with stolen items and weeping children. Aqua was taken into North America, in a strange underground base which was illegal. her hair was dyed and she was tortured out of her native ways by whipping when she did things wrong. Eventually, she turned 10 and had been completely remade. Aqua had now learned English and been scarred for life. She was then trained as an entertainer and put up for sale. She was bought at the age of 11.

Her parents died and her siblings did too. She was adopted by a very rich family in North America. Since then, Catari has been living the life in a rich family, with slaves and anything she wanted.

. Personality: Slightly Hot-headed and short tempered, Ottawa usually gets punished for her " big" mouth. She blurts out things that are rude towards the slave owners, and if she believes she's pushed to her limit, she'll stop working. She doesn't like being proven wrong and doesn't forgive very easily. She's a good leader and doesn't like being over-seen. She's very brave and strong, but at certain times pressure may be too much and she'll blurt out screaming what's wrong with everything and everyone in the situation. However, she's generally optimistic, and if she likes you enough, she's quite nice. She likes cracking jokes and doesn't take things too seriously.

She has freckles scattered across her nose and her forehead, with the odd ones on her ears, hands, feet, and shoulders. Her eyes are dark brown; almost black. She has thin lips that naturally look slightly red. She wears a orange-long sleeved top with a long, blue skirt, and an orange apron that's decorated with a blue and yellow checkered pattern. She's bare foot.

When are we going to start?

If we don't have any new apps by Wednesday, we'll start then, but I'd like to see how many people we're going to get first. The more we have, the longer the RP will last.

. Age: 26
. Gender: Male
. Personality: Bran lacks self confidence; he never thinks he is good enough. Why would he be a slave working in farmland right now if he was? Because of this, he pushes himself past his own limits, hoping that his owner will take him out of slavery. Of course, that will never happen. That's why he has turned to escaping slavery. He's determined to get out, no matter what the cost. Other than that, Bran is a very funny and entertaining person to be around. He doesn't usually take others feelings into mind. He's generally open minded, and tries to be optimistic. This doesn't work out too often, because of his self confidence level.
Bran is unhelpful and blunt. He's not in general a very intelligent person. Obviously, slaves aren't intelligent in general. But, Brant is just outright unintelligent unless it comes to magic tricks or jokes.
. Job: Farmland, sometimes mining.
. Skills - Mundane: Bran is good at magic tricks and at easily entertaining others.
. Skills - Survival: He's rather good with knives, possibly a sword. Although, being a slave, he obviously hasn't tried. Bran is great at balance.
. Picture/Description: Bran is severely underweight, about 100 pounds give or take. He's 6', and has very dark brown skin. He has choppy black hair that is nearly shoulder length. His face is in a square like shape, and has small brown eyes, and his lips are slightly full.
Bran's skin is filled with cuts and bruises from being hit and from working in the mine on occasion. He has a few pricks and scars from farming as well.
His clothing is ripped, dirty and worn. Quite a few pieces of his clothing are too small as well.

Personality: Ruby always does what she's told and works to keep people happy, even if it means sleepless nights or cuts and scars. Being obedient, trustworthy and hard working, she usually treats other people better than herself, and sometimes becomes very stubborn and will refuse to give up on anything she's assigned to do. She usually is good-tempered and takes pride in her work, but that doesn't nessesarily means she likes it. This makes her always sad looking. Still, she always seems to be thinking when she works, and her mind seems to wonder off easily, figuring out stuff that seems like curious and stupid thoughts. Somehow she still seems to have figured out plenty from what she does, and makes easy and fun ways out of her worse problems and situations. It just takes a while sometimes.
Job: Keeps the animals and sheep (feeding, shearing, etc) and slaughters them.
Skills-Mundane: Good at coaxing animals and caring for them, can make a few jokes.
Skills-Survival: Can handle a knife and throw it, runs fast.
Picture/Description: Long brown hair, blue eyes, tall. She wears a simple white dress with little blue squares sewed in to block off holes. She has pale white skin and is covered in mosquito bites.
Bio: Ruby was born into slavery during a slave auction and only saw her parents for about ten minutes before she was sold. Many people bought and sold her and she never really knew what a home or a family was, because to her, everywhere was home and everyone was family. As she grew older she became worked hard to make her owners happy, and soon she was worth a very large amount of money at the slave auctions and people who bought her were a bit more wealthy than before Ruby was bought when they sold her. However, one of the families used her for fraud because she was worth a lot, and rented her to other families for a lot of money. They were caught and arrested, but Ruby escaped and roamed freely until she was captured and sold once more, this time for a smaller amount of money as usual. The event changed her a lot, and Ruby is waiting for the chance to escape again.
