Halloween at Midnight [[ Role Play ]]

Lexi was asleep. A few minutes later she woke up. She made her bed. All she can think about was Halloween.

Katrina had been awake since the early hours. She was so excited for Halloween she couldn't sleep. She had the perfect costume in mind and just needed to get some last minute materials to complete it.

Lexi was getting dressed to the Halloween store. She went downstairs to eat some of her favorite cereal, Honey Nut Cheerios. After that she went to the Halloween store to get a witch costume.

Katrina skipped along the pavements in joy, and quickly got to the Costume/Halloween store as it was near her house. She went straight to the isle that contained witch and warlock materials and costumes.

She noticed another girl with long pigtails tied in slightly-strawberry blonde hair. She glanced at what the girl was looking for and it seemed that they were both getting a witch costume.

Katrina smiled and waved to the girl.

Lexi walked to the store. She noticed a girl waving and smiling at her. Lexi waved and smiled back. Lexi bought the witch costume and skipped out the store

Kiane was dressing into her costume for Halloween. Putting on the white kimono, her blue eyes thrilled too see her in her costume now for that last part, where was that mask?

Katrina gathered the materials she needed. She decided not to buy a costume because she wanted her outfit to look unique, seeing as other people are choosing to be a witch.

Running home, Katrina thought of how fun it was going to be.

Time passed before evening fell, and at 7:00PM Katrina slid on her costume that she had spent the day finishing.
She suddenly felt...

strange.

Looking under her bed, she barley got grasp of that mask. It was so close, yet so far away. Smiling she called for her sister.
"Joanne? Can you help me here? And sure I can show you!"

Lexi went back home to get ready with her costume. She pulled out her hair ties and brushed her hair. Finally grabbing her witch's hat and her Halloween basket.

As the sun began to slowly set, a cackling, loud laugh arose from Katrina's house.

Cere frowned. She knew what she was going to be, but how to pull it off? All her friends had their costumes ready and had time to do other things. For the thirtieth time she sketched a possibility but it just wasn't coming to her. She loved Halloween, it was her favorite holiday. But how, how?

Hmm. Will I just wear all black, or should I have a black dress. Would anyone understand what I'm going to be, anyway? She sighed. She was certain she had thought of everything already. How come I can't think?

Lexi was super excited for Halloween. Lexi thought Maybe it's too early for people to go trick or treating So she sat down and began to eat some candy.

Feeling a burst of overwhelming power and purpose, Katrina chuckled to herself as she took off into the sky on a now working broomstick!

Wedged between the bed and the floor she still grabbed for the mask.
"Joanne? Are you there? Help please?"

Finally she came up with the costume and finished it. She was going to be a perfect shadow for Halloween. She put on the costume and examined herself in the mirror. Perfect. She went downstairs and waited for the familiar sound of her friend's car driving up.

"Well finally!" Letting out a light hearted giggle, she held the mask. Placing it on her face, in an instant the ribbons in the back tied into a fast grip.

She felt... Strange. What was going on? She felt her costume was... tight? A perfect fit? It was natural, as though she was born with it, that it wasn't just a costume. She frowned and stepped towards the door... And disappeared. Melted into the shadows. Or as if she was a shadow.
