the Lost Library [RP]

Sky was walking through the streets. It was cold. She finds a closed library, and sneaks through a window. She pulls out a book called "The Diamond Candle" She opens the book. It was about a apocalyptic world of wars and a hidden candle made of diamond that when lit would give a wish. Sky fell in love with the book. Chapter 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 had already been read by her. In the first page of Chapter 11, she saw a strange symbol, beside her favorite character's name: Kit. The symbol was like a circle with a square inside it and a line making it symmetrical. She thought it was some kind of dirt on the book, and put her finger on it to wipe it off. The symbol starts glowing in a white tone and it its shine blinds Sky for a second. Then, she wakes up. Where am I..? She scratches her head. She stands up, she was in some kind of half-destroyed hut. She walks out and sees a lake, covered in quite some blood. She stares in her reflection confusedly. I look like Kit. This has to be some kind of dream!

Picking up a book she flipped over to chaper 11. She was excited to finish this chaper as she was extremely bored. This book was excellent and Lila was hasty.

Brook decided to visit the old library. She walked over and shivered, pulling her coat closer around her. She walked in the entrance and headed to the nearest aisle. She ran her fingers along the book spines, reading titles. Her hand stopped at a book. The Diamond Candle, it was called. She picked it up and sat cross-legged on the ground. Amazingly, it seemed moments later, she reached Chapter 11. She saw an old sooty symbol by her favorite character's name, Rhythm. She touched it and it glowed blinding white. When she opened her eyes, she was in a busy market square. Brook just stood there, confused. What happened?

Sky suddenly started to forget her human life, and started being more like Kit.

Lauren went to the library, seeing her friend go in. She was bored so she wanted to read something. On her way to the science fiction isle, she saw a book on the table. She saw it was opened to chapter 11, she read the last page of chapter 10 and the first of chapter 11, she then saw a smudge with squares draw on it. She tried to wipe it off, darkness. Lauren opened her eyes to see 2 girls staring at themselves in the mirror scratching their heads. What the he__ where am I? Lauren thought, she went in the mirror. She looked like someone else! She was stunning!

Marscia walked happily down the deserted street. It had only been a month, but she was enjoying Earth. It's so much better than Mars. The "water" is cool! She came to a stop at a library. Marscia entered it, not knowing what to expect.

Brook felt very sleepy. Her fingers were clutched around an odd amulet. The symbol on it was familiar... So familiar... She had seen it moments ago, she was sure. It slipped from her hand and fell with a clatter.


Rhythm snapped awake. What am I doing? She shook her head. It was like she was forgetting something.

Lauren started forgetting her past, she only remembered the things that happened within the hours time, she knew her birthday, name, and age, but she didn't know where or who she was born to.

Not knowing what a "library" was, Marscia slipped through the double-doors without caution. She was surrounded by square-things. She had seen earthlings carry the objects everywhere, but she never knew how they worked. How interesting...

Have I seen this before? She thought. She shaked her head. More people.

(You're talking about BOOKS right?)

Lauren looked from left to right, the 2 girls didn't notice her. "Uh.. Hello?" she called out to them, she was blushing now.. She was very nervous and frightened on her whereabouts.

Rhythm walked over to a chair and sat down. She looked around at all the venders calling out their merchandise. Now, what was I doing here again?

There was one particular thing that caught Marcia's eye. It was a square-thing that looked like it had been handled by various earthlings. She walked over it and saw a page open. Chapter 11, it read. What's a chapter?

(Did you mean to cut off there when you said it read.?)

Lauren tried again, these girls must've been deaf or something. "HELLO!" she said. She was blushing madly now, her palms were getting sweaty and she was starting to reek of this Vanilla and Lime odor.

Kit assumed she had met the girl before. "Hey. I'm Kit."

Rhythm still was confused. She leaned back, making the chair creak and listened to the people murmuring and gossiping about the war. She sighed. What was I going to do?

When Marscia picked up the square-thing, her finger smudged over a strange symbol. It looked like a symbol she would use at home. Before she could point out the error to someone near, she was transported to some type of place.

Kit smiled at the girl, and was knocked off her feet by a loud explosion.

She reached into her traveling sack. Food, money, her flute. She picked it up and began doing a little tune. Suddenly there was shouting and she saw an explosion, too far away to harm the square, of course.

Marscia found herself in the middle of a crowded village. Many earthlings were bumping past her while chattering. Then a boom was heard. I'm confused... where am I and what was that sound?

She rushed away, almost dropping her flute. She jammed it in her pack and bumped into someone standing there. She picked herself up and reached for a vine. It instantly grew to reach her and lifted her to safety. She smiled inwardly, glad she was a mage.

Opening the book she started reading and started feeling odd. Her memory started to fade away a bit...

"Page 96, chapter 10." She read about blasting wizards, caasting spells, and her favorite war character: War girl. Shes powerful, strong, and awesome. She flipped to page 97. A strange symbol appeared. She looked puzzled. The symbol glowed white, and she woke up in a strnge plain in the book. "What the heck?" She got a shiny sword, and looked at it. She had weapons and everything. "This is probably a dream." She walked around and saw some girls. "HEY!" She ran over and smiled. "Where am i?"

Christopher rubbed his head. What just happened? He looked around and saw he was in a strange land. It feels so familiar, like it's been described to me before..how odd.

Marscia could barely see over the heads of earthlings. She floated upwards a bit and looked around. This land is unfamiliar...
