Ruth waited in a room while the audience filled up the stadium. The chariot was right in front of her. It was powered by jet turbines and was all covered in glowing neon colors. She got on, waiting for Caleb, standing, trembling.

Oceanna, District 4

Oceanna gulped as she stepped into the chariot, led by two beautiful white horses with gold nets around their manes. She was wearing a long, sparkly blue skirt, to represent a mermaid's tail, along with a coconut bra. She had her long, golden locks dyed a blue/green, and they were curled even more. She wore a lot of green makeup, with red lipstick and a crown on her head, covered in fish nets and a plastic trident. Her and her partner, Whom was named Dillon, were equally nervous. They smiled; They created an alliance. She grasped his hand, holding it high as they entered.


Clark, District 8

Clark groaned at her costume. It was a patch-work outfit. She thought it was pathetic. She stepped into the chariot, and as they wheeled out, the crowd stayed silent, looks of disgust on their faces.

Diana, District 7

Diana was wearing an adorable tree outfit. She made herself look innocent, and the crowd loved it; They got extra loud when she rolled by them.

Ruth got into the chariot and it fired up by the jet turbines at its back. It was very modern and had many neon colors that were glowing and flashing in many ways. The crowd was cheering very loudly. She looked at Caleb. She put on a fake cheerful smile and started waving, her glowing bracelets swinging back and forth.

Ruth and Caleb were stealing the show. She held his hand and held it in the air, the glowing bracelets making nice sounds.

Caleb grabbed Ruth's arm and began smiling cheekily at the girls near by.Her grabbed a colorful rose that fell in the chariot and put it in between his lips and raised an eyebrow seductively at the ladies which made them melt.

Ruth smiled joyfully, waving her hand, flipping her hair back and forth. She winked at everybody. Then the chariots stopped and got into position.

Caleb looked up to the President of Panem. He glared,he didn't like the president one bit all the president does was kill his citizens anyway.

The President delivered his speech, and ended it with a "Happy Hunger Games!" Every member of the audience clapped and started throwing things: Coins, flowers, hats, and more. Ruth caught a coin and put it under her hand, winking as the chariots dispersed back into the building and the audience was ready to leave.

Caleb caught a hat before they entered he hopped off the chariot and smiled ''I got a hat''! He said putting it on his brunette mop of curls.

"I got a coin." Ruth said, sighing. "Well, lets go to our apartment." She said, going to the elevator with Caleb and stopping at their apartment. it was.. amazing. She went to the bedroom, and saw that there were two beds, one next to the other. It was almost like a double bed but there was a small space between them. She sat on one and looked at the clothes rack. There were two of them, one for men one for women. It was automatic. She picked up a small device with a screen and letters and numbers, and typed in: Pajamas. Quickly, the clothes arranged and there were multiple pajamas shown on the screen. She touched the picture of a red outfit, pants and a shirt, both made from a silky material. The pajama showed up on the clothes rack and the sliding glass door opened. She took off the pajamas, changed into them and got into her bed.

Caleb sat on his bed,and was wondering what would a wait him in the cornucopia.

Ruth was sleepless that night. She tossed and turned in her bed. The next morning she woke up and went to the kitchen. There was a silver tray with a white plate on it. There was a pile of waffles on the plate, and there was also a glass of juice and chocolate milk. There was a paper, and there was "FOR RUTH" written on it, in big bold letters. Next to the tray there was Caleb's tray with his breakfast on it. She sat on the table, amazed by the comfortableness of the chairs. She started eating it, not looking forward to the interviews.
